It took an hour longer than last month 😂 but amazed to say that our next Social Night on 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 is now 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗱 🤯

The Waiting List is now open (there are usually a couple of cancellations each month so you could be lucky)

𝕊𝕒𝕥𝕦𝕣𝕕𝕒𝕪 𝟚𝟘𝕥𝕙 𝕁𝕦𝕟𝕖 𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟞

Well, it’s the morning after the night before and sadly it wasn’t to be for us over in Boston ⚽️🫩 but here at home, we honestly had one of 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿 (ever!) at The Tannahill Centre 💙

DJ Gary had the tunes pumping from Doors Open and a brilliant rendition of Flower Of Scotland 30 minutes later set the scene for an atmosphere that just built & built throughout the night 📈

We honestly can’t thank you enough for the incredible support you give The Linedance Club in everything we do - and in turn we really try to give 100% effort in return to make sure you have a good time. We regularly get told that you (can) dance much more with us than any other event you go to, and we really appreciate that!

A video on TikTok yesterday described our social tickets as being “like gold dust” 🫣 and certainly last night demand outstripped supply even though we pushed the table plan to the absolute max & had our biggest crowd ever (ever! lol). We also managed to get through an incredible 5️⃣8️⃣ dances which is also our highest number ever (ever! 🤣) for an evening social.

Gary had organised some song swaps for the Tartan Army theme so we ended up dancing to everything from GBX to Red Hot Chilli Pipers to Scotland’s On Fire 🔥 - and thanks for the great feedback on those … there will be a couple of TikToks posted for sure.

The full playlist will be posted tomorrow as usual, and our next social will be 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆, followed in August we have our All Day Summer Dance Party 🌞 which is currently fully booked subject to payment - let us know if you’d like to go on the Waiting List.

𝕄𝕠𝕟𝕕𝕒𝕪 𝟙𝟝𝕥𝕙 𝕁𝕦𝕟𝕖 𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟞

After receiving lots of requests , we’ve been able to confirm with The Tannahill Centre that we can adjust our times for our Friday night social this week as a one-off so that you can get home in time for kick-off 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️ at 11pm

So:

🚪 Doors open 6:30pm
💃 Dancing starts 7pm
🚗 Finish up at 10:30pm

We hope everyone understands the change - but obviously if this doesn’t suit & you’d like to cancel then please just let us know & we’ll sort a refund for you.

We will also be doing a couple of Tartan Army / World Cup song swaps to hopefully spur the team on to a second win (or even a draw!) which means we’d qualify for the group stages 🤩 … so also feel free to wear a Scotland top if you have one, and let’s have some fun!

Well done to these lovely ladies who took 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒑 with us this week at our brand-new class for Complete Beginners & had so much fun 💃

The class is now running weekly on a Tuesday morning so if you’d like to join us then please just come along, no need to book!

We always set out to have a party night at all of our socials and Wow, that was certainly the case last night!! 💥
