Todays championship finals did not disappoint.

We were treated to two fantastic matches.

John Fox lifted the silverware for the gents with Josie Stevenson coming runner up on this occasion.

Christina Rooney lifted the trophy for the ladies, a first time winner of the championship against the mighty Pauline Harper.

Thanks to Graeme McGinley for coming along to present the players with their prizes.

A fantastic day was had by all at our annual ladies day tournament. We had 32 bowlers from across Renfrewshire and Ayrshire taking part. The weather held out for us, we had a wee round robin tournament which was played in good spirit, we laughed and made some new friendships.
Huge shout out to Reach Pharmacy for sponsoring the day again this year, to Brenda McGinley for keeping us fed, to Brenda McLaughlan and Scott Vandal for keeping us hydrated all day and into the evening. Thanks to Bob Hopkins for providing the entertainment and to each and every one of the ladies who helped organise the day and make it such a success.

Congratulations to our competition winners on the day Pauline Harper, Mary McLelland, Cathie Hunter and Hayley Thomson who were outstanding all day.
