Great weather yesterday for our Uni of Northumbria student members and their Australian Open style "1 point open” knockout Tournament. Looked like a whole lot of fun and was really well organised. Well done to all involved.

A busy day at Jesmond LTC today with Northumbria Uni hosting Newcastle Uni at their inaugural varsity match. We were treated to some great tennis to watch, with Newcastle Uni winning on court. Off court the bar, pool table and table footie proved very popular too. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the day.

A reminder that Student membership at Jesmond is just £85 for 12 months which includes use of our LED floodlights (and there are no court fees). An absolute bargain - and a great way to take a break from studying and to keep mentally and physically fit! So why not come and join us?

Really enjoyable afternoon of tennis at our Annual Club Tournament Finals Day.

These are every MONDAY and THURSDAY over the school holidays. Note that the Bank Holiday Monday camp will take place on the Tuesday.

ADULT TENNIS COACHING TUESDAY EVENINGS
Our popular adult group coaching sessions for Beginners and Improvers will continue over the summer starting this Tuesday 23rd July. Open to both members and non-members and a great way to get active in a social environment.

Great afternoon of tennis at Jesmond LTC’s Annual Tournament Finals Day today.
Thanks to all who came down to watch and to all the finalists too of course.
Thanks to Ben Ashfield for organising the whole Tournament and to Liz Morrow & Dan Curtis for all their work behind the scenes organising the food and bar. (Sorry - no photos of you two hard at work.)

Unfortunately the weather wasn’t as good as in previous years but it WAS much better than forecast.
