Jedburgh Borders Games are saddened to share the news of the passing of ex president Kenneth Hogg.

Kennie was a valued committee member for many years, he worked tirelessly behind the scenes developing and maintaining the Jedburgh Border Games website ensuring that the history of the Games was available for all to see.

Current president Keith Lyall would like to send his most sincere condolences to Kennies family and thanks for the many years of time and committed given by kennie.

Kennies funeral details as follows.

Castlewood Cemetery on Friday 28th November at 11:30am.

All members of the committee and public are welcome to attend.

That's a wrap!

The official results are in. Thank you to every single one of you who made the day happen! Committee, officials, volunteers, athletes and spectators.

Yesterday was a huge success and we hope you all enjoyed the day.

It was a difficult day with the heat, probably one of the hottest ever Jedburgh Games to date!

Tomorrow the Borders Athletics circuit moves to Riverside Park, Jedburgh with a Noon start.

A word of caution as the weather is forecast to be very warm. ☀️☀️☀️☀️

A message to everyone attending and in particular the competing athletes:

* Keep hydrated by drinking plenty of water.

* Use Sunscreen.

* Wear a hat if you need to.

This year brings a more family friendly games! We have a free bouncy castle and face painting for all children. It weathers looking great, why not come along for a family day out at Riverside Park this Saturday and enjoy a fantastic day of athletics.

🚨 WE NEED YOUR HELP🚨

with only a few weeks left until the games we are really struggling and need your help.

Unfortunately we have had no volunteers from P7 to do the bib running this year - if you have a responsible child who would be willing to help us out please contact us 🙏 the more the merrier

We also need an official photographer for the day 📸 you will be well looked after on the day! - position now filled 😁

🚗 And last but not least we need some help to manage the carpark and collect parking money

Every year it becomes more and more of a struggle to organise and run the games, please help us continue the tradition for many more years to come.
