First season as a Men's Team GB performance coach done β

Just taking a moment to appreciate all of the things that led to this role, yet also looking ahead to ensure these boys get the standards and opportunities they very much deserve.
I've loved every moment of working with the current squad and can't wait to get stuck back in after the CWG, with hopefully some new faces joining the ranks π.
Some reflections,
Meaningful change doesn't start with medals, but rather when there's a shift in expectations. The men's team historically have had none placed on them compared to ladies (rightly so) but now given a fresh injection of resources and people who want to see British men stood on podiums, I believe change is coming.
We don't appreciate the time it takes to build world class programs, there's been hero's of the sport, pushing these agendas behind the scenes for longer than most of us will ever know, but now it feels like we are gathering momentum.
The foundations are in place, standards are rising and the culture is evolving!
I'm so excited to see where this program goes.
In the mean time please get behind these boys and show them all just how much we believe in their potential πββοΈ
