Good to get back in action tonight after a short break. As always there was a great energy in the room as we worked on a few different concepts. Sadly though it was the last class before "wor" Lukasz heads back to his native Poland. Lukasz has been an integral part of the North Com family, a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual and valued contributor to each class. Your positivity and sense of humour will be a huge miss mate.... though I won't miss them low kicks of yours! We wish you and your family well for the future and look forward to catching up with you in the summer. Thanks again Lukasz 💥👊

We are looking for a few motivated individuals to come down and join our Wednesday night self protection class. We are a friendly, small group of like minded people who train each week to develop the skill sets which hopefully we won't need.

We focus on;
Developing a good sense of awareness.
Learning behavioural recognition skills.
Develop the de-escalation skills/strategies to hopefully calm a potential violent situation.
Learn and train the physical skills that can be deployed under stress.
Learn to deal with stress, adrenaline, ego and the general chaos which comes from violence and confrontations.

If this sounds like this may be of interest to you then get in contact. If you are looking to learn fancy techniques, grade and collect belts/certificates then we aren't for you.

Final class of 2025 in the bag. A big thank you to everyone who has come down and trained with us this year. Well done to the newbies who have got stuck in and taken on board what we have shown them. They have all shown a fantastic attitude and I'm incredibly proud of their progress. A special shout out to my long suffering training partners Gareth, Lukasz and Michael for their continued support, craic and contribution to each class. More of the same...but different next year.
