We’re still reeling over these latest achievements! 😍

The month of May came to a dazzling close in the throws world, as the Pickering Memorial gave athletes a platform to truly shine, producing some sensational distances! 🔥

Every athlete who participated performed tremendously, but it would be remiss of us not to give a special shout-out to our ambassadors (past and present) who were there, as they really outdid themselves on the day! 👏

Thank you England Athletics for making this such an enjoyable experience, especially for those who competed in the England vest for the first time! 🙌

We’re celebrating BCHF’s next event with another athlete analysis! 🙌

This Sunday, the second grand prix of BCHF’s 2026 season will take place, and it’s due to be a magnificent spectacle with the current rankings. 😮‍💨

It’s no wonder that athletes always want to be involved with the PMI! ✨

For the third time this weekend, England Athletics will be hosting another spectacular edition of the Pickering Memorial International, which has quickly proven itself to be one of the UK’s most inclusive throws competitions! 🙏

Once again, our team at Neuff will be there in spirit as a devoted sponsor. We absolutely adore the backstory behind this throws extravaganza, and it’s an utter privilege for a grassroots-led company like ours to be involved in the uprising of so many up-and-coming throwers! 🤝

This competition was created to honour the memory of the late Shaun Pickering, who tragically passed away in 2023. Remembered as “a gentle giant” of the athletics world, he was a go-to coach for many young and vivacious throwers in his heyday, cementing his status as one of the all-greats in his craft. 👏

To highlight how much of an impact this event has had on both newbies and previous attendees, we asked Owen Boon and Lucy Harris to share a few words about their experiences with the event so far and why they’re looking forward to attending this year’s competition! 🙌
