On Saturday 6th July we celebrated Captain's Day with over 100 members and guests braving the wet and windy conditions. Congratulations to the greens staff on getting the course playing so well after so much rain overnight.
Nevertheless, it was a great day for our Captain, Andrew Morris who had many members of his family there.
Pat O'Looney took the Captain's Cup trophy with the Guests' prize going to Nick Burmeister.
There was a great atmosphere in the clubhouse afterwards, with England beating Switzerland and DJ Tony 'Jivin Jukebox' Jones putting on some great tunes.

On 22nd June 84 golfers competed in 4 teams of 21 for our Team Challenge. It was a very close competition with Wonkas and Airlinkers tied on 58.5 points each. However, winning by just 4 stableford points across the whole team, Airlinkers were the winners of the Ross Mackenzie Cup, presented by Fiona Mackenzie.

On 20th June, Club Captain, Andrew Morris, and Professional Colin Ancsell played in the PGA Captain and Professional Challenge at Camberley Heath Golf Club. They finished with 44 points in a very creditable 4th place out of 72 teams. There was some great golf on show, which included 9 birdies (the Captain beating the Pro 5-4).

The winner of the Handicap Cup was Richard Whitehouse.

Honourable mentions to Rod Lyons for second place in the gross competition, Clive Cooper for second place in the nett - also Sudhi Pathak and Lee Mayhew for best nett on day 1 and day 2 respectively.

A big congratulations🍻 to Raja Flora on winning the Miles Boyer Memorial Bowl yesterday.
Not only did he organise the competition in the days preceding, he turned up at 7:00 to set things up for 94 entrants and then later shot a 76 to take top spot.

On 30th March, we celebrated the Captain's Drive-In, the first major competition of the year.

The Seniors Captain, Brian Underwood, and Club Captain, Andrew Morris drove off to start the new golfing season.

Great fun was had by all with a Cross-Country Scramble in the morning and an individual stableford competition in the afternoon, followed by prizegiving and entertainment from the The Six Fiftys

Our main entrance is currently not in use as a section of the road has been closed due to a road accident. Visitors can use the Pump House Entrance from the Richings Park/West Drayton side, but the Golf Club can not be accessed from the Langley side and they are not allowing any through traffic towards the Langley side.

Golf course is still closed due to snow ❄️ let’s hope it clears in the next few days 🙏🏻
