History and education - Blake's passion for the fitness industry is like no other and his competition history competing in natural bodybuilding shows has given him the experience to know how dedicated somebody has to be to get in shape and achieve goals. Blake is a fully qualified Level 3 insured personal trainer and has been for 4 years. Newly part of the Cornwall Healthy Weight management helping people from all over Cornwall getting fit and healthy and achieving goals. Future - Education - Blake continues his Nutrition degree and hopefully continue onto a masters degree in the future. Blake makes time every night to research and read around the subject area and motivation in life.Alongside university. Sometimes the hardest part of a workout isn’t the exercises; it’s getting your mind in the right place.

That’s why I like to add boxing into some of my clients’ sessions. It’s more than just learning to punch.

Depending on the client, it can be for technique, self-defence, or cardio, but more often than not, I use it to help people get in the zone and reach flow state faster.

Many of my clients have busy minds, so a few minutes of boxing at the start of a session is an incredibly effective way to switch off the mental chatter and get focused for the work ahead.

Somedays are not solely about progress

Somedays it’s for the mind

Somedays progress is secondary and strengthening the mind becomes more of a priority.

One hour stairmaster usually does that for me. It gives me a chance to zone out and focus on one thing.

This is a specifically good method for business people with high time and stress demands. It’s not optional, it’s maintenance!
