🍦TOMORROW IS ICE CREAM SUNDAY🍦

Ali’s ice cream tour of Cornwall is returning for its second year, and this year there are 3 rides!

Ali will be leading the 3 scoops ride, heading out at 7:45am on a 127km tour with 5 (official) ice cream stops🍨

Jerry will be leading the 2 scoops ride in a 61km route with 3 stops for ice cream, leaving at 8:45am🍨

Gen is leading the 1 scoop ride out for a 37km ride at 8:30 am with 1 stop in Perranporth🍨

With our reigning champion (pictured scooping his way to victory) out of the running this year, the coveted silver scoop is anyone’s to win🥄

What is XCR?

XCR! A brand new format invented by our off road team to encourage new participants and give regular racers the chance to try something new..

XCR - New - Cross Country Rapid!

Shorter than an traditional XCO in distance and time, with roughly a 3km lap over 45 mins, but longer than 20 mins of XCC so you get more of a feel for a longer distance race.

This is perfect for mountain bike newcomers to racing and great for the enthusiasts who like to push themselves into new things.

Try XC MTB racing without having to pay full fee for XCO races and slog it out for 90 mins!

For just £12 a race and £6 for U8, U10 & U12's, have some summer evening fun in a no pressure racing environment.

Results for each race will be given per race but only a podium for the overall after 3 races have concluded.

If you're bothered about results you must complete 2 of the 3 races for a series result.

Race dates are, June 20th, July 18th, & Aug 1st.

Course practice/sighting lap from 15:45

U8 16:30 (15 min race)

U10/11 16:50 (20min race)

Everyone else 17:20 (45min race)

📣Charity Ride Announcement 📣

As a club we hold an annual memorial ride in honor of our former club chair, Dave Bennett. We do this to raise money for 2 charities that were important to Dave and to showcase some of the beautiful routes and scenery that Cornwall has to offer!🏞️

Entry costs £15 in advance or £20 on the day, with the option of a 50km, 100km or 160km routes to suit all abilities🚲

Last Sunday 2 groups of riders headed out from Lemon Quay to “Jeremy’s Garage Cafe” where Jeremy had laid on breakfast with a collection plate for 🎗️

2 rides at 2 different paces ensured that everyone arrived at the same time ready and hungry for some breakfast 🍳

A total of £130 was raised for Cancer Research, a huge well done to Jeremy and all of the riders that attended!

Reliability trials are usually a fixed distance event that has to be completed within a certain time - they are not a race. Kernow Racing Team’s annual Ladies only Time Trial is all set for Wednesday 27th May on the S6/10 at Ladock.
Once again all profits raised from this event will be going to the Mermaid Appeal at Royal Cornwall Hospital. This event has a maximum of 60 entrants and it sold out last year and raised over £1100
This is one of the Ladies only TimeTrials that the CTT recognise as a benchmark for getting ladies involved in Time Trials.
A lot of the ladies say it’s their favourite event of the year so dust of the bike enter the event and help to raise money for a fantastic charity whilst having fun on 2 wheels

Looking for a fresh way to celebrate Mother’s Day? Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or haven't been on a bike in years, we warmly invite you to join our cheery, beginner-friendly group ride! New guests and friends — everyone is welcome as we soak up some Cornish spring air together. Leaving Lemon Quay for 9am and heading for coffee and brunch at Porthtowan. We are really pleased to announce that we will be running a series of 10 club time trials this year.

Starting on Tuesday 28 April they will be run every other Tuesday
The course is a challenging 4,2 mile straight out route from Tremethick Cross towards St Just.

These events are all run under CTT regulations as come and try events - you do not need to be a member of a club to ride these events and entry is just £5 per rider.
