Last night saw the end of an era ☹️

MLTNC Academy’s final session took place where it all began with the same venue, sunshine and smiles. An incredible journey that saw 24 players move to Southampton FC Academy, AFC Bournemouth Academy, Portsmouth Academy, Chelsea Academy, Swindon Town Academy and AFC Wimbledon Academy.

But, probably more importantly, it gave hundreds of Boys and Girls the opportunity to be coached in an environment that preached life skills, manners, standards and more 👏🏻

To all the Parents and Players that have supported MLTNC through the years we thank you all wish you continued success and prosperity going forward.

From Matt and all the coaching team, that showed class and dignity right through to the end, THANK YOU ❤️

Astrella Academy of Football is COMING SOON and we invite all current and former MLTNC Academy players to the OPEN TRIALS.

Our philosophy is to have an environment where children can come and be coached to a world class syllabus whilst having fun in a professional, disciplined manner.

A regular games programme will be in place against local and academy teams as well as other really exciting opportunities.

*Please note places are limited at ALL age groups and a selection process will take place for players to be invited in to Astrella Academy of Football*

Our Director of Coaching Jody Rivers has several years experience in coaching at elite levels and as well as visiting FC Barcelona’s La Masia Academy, Athletic Bilbao, Sporting Lisbon and Southampton FC Academy is now First Team Coach at Dorchester Town.

OPEN TRIALS will be on Wednesday 17th, 24th, 31st July at Toynbee School, Chandlers Ford, Hampshire.

5.45pm - 6.45pm U7/U8/U9/U10
6.45pm - 7.45pm U11/U12
7.45pm - 8.45pm U13/U14 and U15/U16

Thank you all for those that attended the Parents Forum last night.

For those who didn’t please see Matt’s statement attached made in the best interest of the players, parents and coaches by the man himself who will be attending a session over the next two weeks.

Astrella Academy of Football, headed by Jody Rivers and supported off the field by Neil and Kerstin Sullivan and Michael Dunn will take over the Wednesday evening coaching slot at Toynbee School. Details were outplayed last night however should you require details please email [email protected] to enable us to forward you information. This is due to GDPR regulations.

Astrella Academy of Football will be holding OPEN TRIALS at Toynbee School on Wednesday 17th, 24th, 31st July for players U7-U16 where players will require to trial to be invited in to the Academy. A strict number of limited players will be invited in to each age group and player evaluation in the trials will take place for a selection process to be made by Jody and coaching team.

The Academy will start on Wednesday 7th August and run throughout the summer holidays and include a Games Programme against local and academy teams as well as other exciting opportunities both on a Wednesday night and beyond.

Thank you all to all our existing and former players and parents for making memories of MLTNC to last forever and we hope to see you all attend the exciting Astrella Academy of Football trials in July.

A reminder there is no MLTNC Academy this Wednesday due to the Half Term break.

Also, as discussed at the recent Academy Parents Forum we are excited with our new timings and syllabus at MLTNC Academy starting Wednesday 5th June.

All Monday sessions have been postponed until September with all MLTNC Development Centre players invited to come to the Wednesday sessions from 5th June. Emails have been sent with the details.

A fantastic experience for close to 100 children from the Isle of Wight as Jody header over there yesterday to coach players from Under 7 to Under 11.
