Sean Cassidy the Ranked u80 strongman in the world 😎!

Amazing work put in by Sean over the last couple of months! Everything he has been working on really showed on the day!

He has been working on his recovery and conditioning ALOT for this competition, perhaps the only thing lacking was the confidence in these improvements in a 7event, 2 day comp, but all this experience will certainly stand to him!

Events:
Axle squats for reps 170kg - 14 hit

Push 125sled, carry 120bag, drag all back - 48s

Log for reps 100kg - 0reps, which was a shock tbh as it’s usually a good events, but competitions aren’t just as straight forward as training.

Farmers carry 15x15m with 120kg.. A HAND! - Sub 30s

Deadlift escalator 200/240/260 all hit 💪

Yoke carry 310kg into db press 50/60kg - sub 1 min… just 😅

Load medley after all above 😳! Keg/sandbag/keg/sandbag, 100/110/120/130kg! First 3 done!

Massive confidence builder for future comps! To have made worlds was the goal!

Now we build and push for Dallas 2027!

Worlds finals kicks off for Sean at 12 o’clock, you can watch it live on Strongpass.ie or keep track on strength results,

Sean is off to worlds ✈️

This weekend Sean takes part in the natural worlds strongest man competition in the u80kg category,

The work that he has put in has honestly been brutal! But no one said it would be easy 😅

As a work colleague we couldn’t be prouder,

As his Coach I couldn’t have asked for more from we started to work together,

In a short time:
- 300kg+ 18inch deadlift, gaining a podium
- 290kg standard deadlift, gaining a podium,

Oh and not to mention coming second in Irelands strongest man u80 just a few months back! He has earned every bit of it,

Online qualifiers required so massive numbers! Some soul destroying distances with sandbags and turning his previous 1rep max on overheads, Into a 3rep set! 115kg!

Our goal was always to make it to worlds! And he earned and deserves this,

Let’s cheer him on now as he pushes over 7 brutal events this weekend in Scotland!

Irvinestowns own in the world stage once again 💪!

5:30am Crew 😎

Starting August 24th we will be running classes Monday - Thursday that will be more CrossFit/Hyrox/HIIT style

These will be perfect for building aerobic and anaerobic capacity for anyone looking to jump in on a Hyrox. A few of the staff will be getting involved too and will be happy to pair off with some members for fun,

Saturday 9:30am we will then be running a weekly 5k - at a controlled pace with a coffee in loziowellness.irvinestown after 😎,

A completely different training style that we haven’t offered much of before, these classes could be anywhere from 45-60mins so you’ll certainly be set up for the day 😎!

New timetable will be released this coming week with 60 classes per week!

- Spin
- Yoga
- Boxing
- Pilates

And everything In between - in the one place 🙂!

New machines arrive this coming week too! Just another phase in the many many planned upgrades 💪!
