On Sunday we had our last 2 gents singles finals. 🏆

Drew Smith v Graham Gunion in the Morton Trophy.
Warren Brown v Calum Williamson in the Presidents trophy.

2 fantastic games. With 2 winners and 2 losers. The standard of bowling was first class! 2 games with 1 shot the difference in both. 😅

Warren and Calum were nip and tuck with no one controlling the game. Warren played the better bowls at the right time and managed to win 21-20. A well deserved win. Warrens first final in 28 years. A phenomenal achievement! 🏆👏👏

Drew and Graham were slightly different. Another high quality game with Graham taking the lead throughout. Drew hung in and managed to get over the line 21-20. Some resilience from Drew after losing the championship final. 2 fantastic players going at. You 2 are a credit to our club!

Firstly well done to all finalists for getting there, a fantastic achievement. Especially for those making a final for the very first time. 🤝🏆

In the 12pm session we had 2 games. Both games were of a very high standard, well done to all involved.

At 3pm we have Mitchell Singles trophy (handicap), we have the Ladies Jenny Brown singles, we have the Gents Pairs and the Ladies nominated pairs. 👏

Finals weekend has arrived at Irvine Park and what way to start it off. The Ladies and Gents Championship finals. 🏆

In the Ladies final we have last years winner Natalie Po***ck going for her 2nd championship win going up against Madge Williamson who is going for her 10th and club record championship wins. Good luck Ladies. 🤞🏻🤝🏻

In the Gents final we have 5 time winner David Hargreaves come up against 3 time winner Drew Smith. Good luck Gents. 🤞🏻🤝🏻

Both matches were due to start at half 5 but may be later due to work commitments. Come by and support the players. 🍻
