Did you know that some of the most important learning for babies and young children happens through simple back-and-forth interactions with the people around them?
These "serve and return" moments happen when a child babbles, points, smiles or communicates, and an adult responds. Every interaction helps build the foundations for communication, social skills, emotional wellbeing and future learning.
Unlike TV and videos, real-life interactions are two-way. Children learn best when someone responds to them, joins in with them and helps them feel heard.
That's why singing, chatting, playing and sharing experiences together are so valuable in the early years and why we love being part of this at Jolly Melodies. 🎶❤️
