🎂🌲 ONE YEAR OF IPSWICH TRAIL RUNNERS 🌲🎂

I don’t really know where to start with this one.

A year ago I had an idea, a lot of hope, and absolutely no idea what we were about to build together. Today we celebrated our first birthday in true ITR style: a cheeky 5k through the forest to set the tone, a feast shared al fresco, and a brave few taking on the Beer Mile because of course they did. 🍺🏃

But the party isn’t really the point.

The point is YOU. Every single person who has shown up, laced up, encouraged a stranger on a tough climb, waited at the top for someone they’d never met before that morning. That’s what this club is. That’s what YOU are.

Watching this community grow over the past year has been one of the most meaningful things I’ve ever been part of. As your coach and club manager I pour everything I have into ITR; and you give it all back tenfold. Every single week.

We’ve achieved so much in year one. And I genuinely believe we’ve barely scratched the surface.

Here’s to year two. More miles, more trails, more of each other. 🌿👟

🎂🌿 IT’S OUR BIRTHDAY WEEK! 🌿🎂

Ipswich Trail Runners is turning ONE and we are absolutely buzzing! One year of mud, hills, good people, and even better vibes. We started as a little idea and now look at us, a proper trail running community showing up week after week, rain or shine, hills or flat (okay, mostly hills).

To celebrate, we’re doing it the only way we know how: a 5K, a Beer Mile, and a picnic at Rendlesham Forest this Sunday at 11am. Whether you’re a seasoned trail rat or just trail-curious, come join the party. Bring your legs, your appetite, and your best birthday energy. 🍺🏃

But first, a packed week of running to get you ready:
