St Margarets Cricket Club, Ipswich Cricket Club based at Ransomes Sports Ground, Sidegate Avenue, Ipswich. We currently have teams playing in Division 5 and 9 East

New players always wanted.

Formed in 1948, St Margaret's CC were one of the founder members of the Two Counties Cricket Championship. In addition to two senior sides, we also run junior teams at under 13 & 15. However, we provide coaching for any youngsters over 8 years of age. If you are interested in playing for us, please get in touch. St Margaret's have been awarded ECB Focus Club status in recognition of our continued

dedication to developing cricket in the Ipswich area. This status builds on our Clubmark accreditation and recognises the club's internal structure and Club Development Plan as delivering club facilities which the ECB considers merits this prestigious award. Here are this weekend’s teams!

On the back of their convincing victory away at Kesgrave last week, Matty’s first team are looking to continue their momentum as they make the journey to the far side of Suffolk to play Mildenhall CC.

Meanwhile, with Mark away, former captain Lloyd will lead the second team as they look to maintain their unbeatable start in Division Nine West as they host Woolpit CC.

It’s game day!!

Matt is back from trekking in Wales to lead the First XI, meanwhile Meshek makes his debut for the first team after impressive spells in the 2s.

The 2s see Laurie and Oscar enter the team in two changes from last week’s convincing win at Bury.

This weekend brings a double-header on Saturday, with both sides facing top-of-the-table clashes.

Our First XI, currently sitting 4th, travel to league leaders Earl Stonham, who remain unbeaten after a blistering start to life in Division Six following last season’s promotion.

Our Second XI are also part of an unbeaten showdown, looking to hold onto top spot in Division 9 West as they take on fellow unbeaten side Stowmarket CC.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, we’ll aim to maintain our unbeaten start in the TC T30 Development Suffolk League as we travel to Yoxford CC.

Teamsheets will be confirmed in the morning.
