Lapse 4 2012 - Cranking How many cycle speedway tracks are there still around? For 2012 go ride a track, take photo and upload it to this page. How many can we find?

We've had Planking - now try Cranking. There must be hundreds of old cycle speedway tracks lying dormant. For this coming Olympic year go out find a track and take a picture of you riding it, post on on our wall. Can you generate enough interest to run a meeting there? Could we re-open a track?

I cycled over to Blaxhall, Suffolk to see whether I could find any trace of the old cycle speedway track. Following the information on DH’s website I made my way to the common and I found some signs of what may have been the track. That said I might be wrong! Don’t know if anyone can clarify, it was some time ago!
