Busy night in the seniors tonight

Kev and I spent a very hot Tuesday morning running Judo for Northgate High School's festival of sport. Despite the heat, the mat was very busy with possibly around 30 people at one point. It was also good to say hi to the handful of our Juniors who are students at the school

Well done to everyone that took part in today’s Ipswich Club Championships, including the guests from Felixstowe and Saxmundum Judo Clubs. Some great Judo on display and lots of people stepping onto a competition mat for the first time. Congratulations to our award winners. A huge thanks to everyone that helped with running the event

If you're thinking about entering our Dan grading on Saturday 25th January and not sure it's worth the journey because there might not be enough players to fight, then here's a breakdown of entries so far.

We have four 1st Dan, four 2nd Dan, a 3rd Dan and three 4th Dan men entered. We've also got seventeen 1st Kyu men in as well.

There are 8 women entered as well, four 1st Dan's, one 3rd Dan and 3 1st Kyu's.
