Pilates for beginners and returners with Penny

This 90 minute session will help you to develop and understand the principles of Pilates. You’ll be guided through to the essential techniques of breathing, concentration, centring, control, precision and flow.
Penny has more than twenty years experience of teaching Pilates as well as more than 25 years as a student. As long as you can get down onto the floor and up again reasonably easily you need no other knowledge of the techniques of Pilates. Penny will guide you though the basics.
From neutral spine to core control and breathing from your diaphragm, Penny can set you on the journey to understanding how Pilates can improve your everyday life. This could be easing a sore back from carrying toddlers, or have a better golf swing or just not always struggling with shoulder and neck aches.
Pilates is about feeling how your body works and making choices that suit your lifestyle so you can live life as you want to with fewer restrictions. Learn the right way from a teacher who can adapt exercises to suit your body in a small class with plenty of individual attention.
Set in a beautiful medieval barn our dedicated Pilates studio is tucked away behind the main Suffolk Food Hall with ample parking and access to the cafe, restaurant and shopping on site. All equipment is provided.
