Next up on our record breakers in our historic season!

Starting with Ryan Caley and his all-time record of 20 interceptions! His last coming in the National Championship! An absolute ball hawk who also has the all-time interception return yards with 404! In a run heavy division and playing 4 seasons as a backer after starting his senior career as a corner - that’s not half bad!

Finally, we have Jack Lake, a talented veteran of the game who set the single game record this season with 3 picks against Berkshire.

Amazing work by our junior team to produce the talent it has done!

We are very lucky as an organisation that we not only get fantastic sponsors but also professionals who want to help improve the players. That is exactly what Adam, Charlotte and Dan at Perform For Sport have done yet again for another season.

QB 1 Joe Haylock wasn’t satisfied with 1 natty this year he decided he wanted two!!

He also decided to set a couple of records in his first full season of adult contact football!

21 passing TD’s. That’s a single season and all-time record!

1557 passing yards! A single season record!

2411all-purposee yards! Another single season record!!

308 passing yards in a game! But not any game. He saved this for the National Championship game!

31 combined TDs! That’s through the air and on the ground for those wondering! 31! And that is another single season record!

Combine that with the double natty and, of course the MVP in the final and that makes for one of the greatest debut seasons in adult ball, in our opinion!

Our man Nana Sakyi Nana Kofi Sakyi

Since joining the Cardinals, Nana has brought nothing but good vibes and good times. The team loves having him around, and he is very much on board with Cardinal culture.

However, in case you haven't been made aware already, Nana is a baller.

In just one year with the Cardinals, Nana has broken the single season receiving yards and the TD receptions record. Along with holding the game record of 3 tds.*
Regularly out-classing his opposition...this is no surprise to any of us.

For the final time in the 2026 season your MVP’s following the National Championship!

Congratulations to Joseph Haylock the MVP of the natty! A huge shift from an incredible talent both through the air on and the ground.

Ryan Caley who had a fantastic day and season playing ⭐️. A game sealing pick capped off another solid day by Captain Caley!

Rounding off the MVP’s is Louis⁩ who wins for his relentless effort on specials all day. And no flags or ejections! What a day!

🏆 WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS 🏆

Following today's result we are delighted to announce that your Ipswich Cardinals are the 2026 BAFA Division Two Champions.

We cannot thank you ALL enough for the love and support this year! We really appreciate every single person who has supported us on social media, on the sidelines or via the livestream today!

For now the social media team will be taking a well deserved break whilst we celebrate this historic win.
