Suffolk's second game of this year's campaign sees Essex head to Felixstowe & Suffolk BC in what promises to be a closely contested encounter. Fresh from their convincing win over Cambridgeshire and with just one change to the side, Suffolk head into this game full of momentum 💪🏼

🌟 Another Fantastic Bowlers Lunch at Ipswich & District Bowls Club! 🌟 DETAILS OF NEXT BOWLERS LUNCH BELOW!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for yet another wonderful Bowlers Lunch! The dining room was filled with laughter, great company, and some truly delicious homemade food. 🍽️❤️

Our bowlers enjoyed a fantastic spread, including tender roast meats, perfectly cooked new potatoes, seasonal vegetables, rich casseroles, colourful fruit jellies, and an irresistible selection of homemade desserts and cheesecakes. From the first course to the final sweet treat, the food was simply outstanding and thoroughly enjoyed by all! 🍰🥔🥕🍓

A very special thank you goes to Gill, Darius, and their amazing team for their continued hard work, dedication, and care in preparing and hosting these lunches. The effort that goes into every meal does not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do to make these events so special for our members. 👏💙

🍽️ Great food, great company, and a fascinating insight into a unique Suffolk success story! 🍻

We were delighted to welcome one of our regular hirers, Ipswich Rotary, to Ipswich & District Bowls Club for another fantastic lunchtime gathering.

Members enjoyed a delicious meal of succulent chicken breast wrapped in smoked bacon, followed by an irresistible caramel crunch cheesecake and coffee ☕🍰

The afternoon was made even more special by an inspiring talk from Carl and Andy of Cydefx Cyder who shared the story behind their Suffolk Craft Cyder and Perry business. Using fruit that would otherwise go to waste, they are transforming surplus produce into award-worthy drinks while helping to reduce food waste and support local sustainability. 🍎🌳

A huge thank you to Ipswich Rotary, our wonderful caterers Gill and Darius and their team and Carl and Andy for being at our venue and making the afternoon such a memorable one.

Everyone at Suffolk Bowls is absolutely delighted to congratulate Nayara Drummond on her selection for the England Under-18 International Series squad!

To be selected to represent your country at such a young age is a fantastic achievement and a testament to Nayara's talent and enthusiasm for bowls. This opportunity gives Nayara a great platform to establish herself within the England pathway and potentially secure her place in England squads for many years to come 🤞🏼

We are incredibly proud to see another young Suffolk player earning national recognition and wish Nayara and the rest of the England squad the very best of luck in the U18 International Series at Victoria Park, Royal Leamington Spa, on 19th & 20th July.

After receiving fantastic feedback at the birthday celebration last Sunday, we’re excited to bring one of the event’s standout favourites to the bar permanently. Our refreshing Peachy-Lemon Iced Tea is now available at Ipswich & District Bowls Club for just £4!

Many of you may remember this refreshing favourite from our bespoke cocktail menu at the birthday event. It proved so popular that we simply had to make it a permanent addition to our drinks offering.
