Puppy training in Aberdeenshire for dogs of all breeds and ages! Puppy training takes time, patience, understanding, calmness and consistency.

All our training is outside, in the place where you need to teach them to behave most! We have all breeds of dog come to class. Although you may not want to work your dog or have a working breed, we aim to achieve the same end result – an obedient and well behaved puppy having covered sit, stay, recall and heel work. All dog training classes are held on a farm ‘Wester Fintray’ just outside Kintore

which is beautiful setting. We have a range of private training ground available to us from the floodlit paddock which is a small fully enclosed area for younger dogs, to larger more open area for gundog work.

A little update from my own team of dogs 🐾❤️

The grouse season is in full swing and although there aren't as many days as we’d hoped, it’s still been a better season than last year, and we’re making the most of every opportunity 🐦🏔️

The dogs are absolutely delighted to be back out doing what they love, and there’s nothing quite like seeing them switch on as soon as they realise it’s a working day. Tweeds on, shooting stick and game bag. They know the drill. 🐕🥰

A few photos from recent days out to share with you all 📸 Tilly always seems to get in on the action posing, while Wh**ky has found her first days out on grouse pretty tiring, and requires some sleep between the drives!

The Shooting season is officially underway… and some spaniels are taking their rest days VERY seriously! 🐾😴😂

After all that hard work, excitement and early starts in the field, there’s nothing quite like a proper day off 🛏️🐶

Working dogs need downtime too, and rest is just as important as training and exercise. A good sleep helps them recover, recharge and be ready for the next day’s adventures. 💚
