After 13 fights, Matthew Macleod finally gets the opportunity to compete in front of a hometown crowd.

On August 8th, the HMAC fighter takes on Ireland’s Nick Rebreanu for the inaugural HMAC Promotions Amateur Welterweight Title at the first MMA event to be held in Inverness for 15 years.

Macleod enters the bout off the back of a win over a former UK #3 ranked welterweight, while Rebreanu arrives in the Highlands riding a five-fight win streak.

Macleod (9-4) coming off the back of beating the former number 3 UK ranked welterweight & will be looking to get the job done infront of a home crowd.

Rebreanu (8-4) is currently riding a 5 fight win streak & won’t be travelling to the Scottish Highlands to make up the numbers !
