🎱 ACADEMY UPDATE 🎱

Academy is ON again this Sunday, 12:30–2:00pm! 🙌

We’ll have the football on again, so please don’t wear football tops this week. 👕🚫⚽️

Unfortunately, there will be no Academy sessions throughout October, so Sunday 27th September will be our last session until November.

I’ll publish all the new Academy dates taking us through to the end of the year as soon as I can. I’m just waiting for the pool league to publish their schedule before I confirm everything.

🎱 Academy is back this Sunday! 🎱

After a couple of weeks off, we’re back and ready to get stuck in! 💪

The tables have recently been recovered and levelled for competitions, so the playing conditions will be top notch. 👌

If everyone could try to arrive 5 minutes early, that would be great. We’ll run through a couple of things together before the session gets underway.

⚽️ Due to football being played at the same time as the academy for the next two sessions. No Rangers or Celtic tops are to be worn ⚽️

A Big Step Forward for Inverness Pool Academy 🎱

Delighted to share that I attended the Inverness Pool League AGM today and put forward three proposals to make the league more accessible to under-18s — and all three were accepted! 🙌

✅ No registration fees for under-18s.
✅ Inverness Pool Academy members can compete in League competitions.
✅ Inverness Pool Academy can enter a team into the pool league and play all our matches at a home venue.

This is a massive step forward for junior pool in Inverness and gives young players more opportunities to compete, develop and gain valuable experience.

The Academy members can now enter cup competitions, with the aim of entering an Inverness Pool Academy team in the league next year. Hopefully this gives all our youngsters even more motivation to keep improving their game! 🎱💪

A huge positive for the future of pool in Inverness! 👏

Hopefully next year we will have someone representing Inverness Pool Academy at this competition. High standard but with another year under our belts I’m sure we will have enough quality to compete and gain massive experience from a outstanding competition 🎱
