The important relationship between a boxer and his coach is characterized by a deep level of trust, mutual respect, and close collaboration, where the coach acts as a mentor, strategist, and confidant, guiding the boxer through intense training, providing tactical advice during fights, and supporting their mental well-being, all while prioritizing the boxer's safety and development as an athlete; it's often considered a very personal and vital partnership in the sport of boxing Furthermore, a good coach is more a part of a fighters whole journey and not just teaching them to box they build a close bond where the coach knows everything about their fighter and is able to detect and changes in there mental and physical manor ..And with skilful handling bring the boxer to full confidence They're a fighter's support, teaching them many life skills as well as ring craft
A good coach-boxer athlete relationship is created By having an open and frank dialogue where the boxer is able to improve their all around ability and understanding when a coach is able to explain any mistakes and use these mistakes as a learning lesson there by adding that confidence
A good coach can read a a boxers progression during a bout as it progresses and then give instructions on how to continue the bout
A coach hadn't need to be a boxer themselves in fact some of the worlds greatest fighters had not be able to make the grade in coaching
A coach develops the boxers own ability but cannot teach natural talent but he can develop this natural talent to its full potential
and a naturally gifted fighter themselves is unable to teach there own ability on to a boxer
given time patience support and a willing committed student with total dedication a good coach can develop a willing student into a boxing champion and into a self confident respectful considerate human being
ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR COACH
