Reach4Reality was set up in 2013 to work with young people (aged 9-18) from the Highlands who have a social communication difficulty such as autistic spectrum disorder or a related condition. This will be through a planned series of outdoor pursuits activities tailored to each young person’s individual needs. Activities include home visits to develop relationships, half days out, days out and small group outdoor activity weekend residentials at local outdoor pursuits centres. On activities the young people will be accompanied and supported on a 1:1 ratio by a team of carefully selected and trained volunteers.
