Hey folks, great session last night.

Nice to see some old faces back at class.

Hopefully we'll see a few more over the next few weeks.

Remember, If you haven't trained in a while, we'd love to see you, the door is always open.

Congratulations to everyone that passed the Sept grading, next one is December.

For beginners, if your thinking about starting a hobby that builds confidence and fitness, martial arts is the right choice.

After a grade is a great time to start a new class, as everyone is moving on to learning new techniques together.

Big thank you to Fone Fitness Dingwall for helping us stay in touch with our customers.

For those that have tried to contact me today, I apologise but I had a small technical issue with my mobile..

It decided it wanted to fall down the concrete stairs at the office.

I called a few places trying to get it fixed but they were less than helpful, saying it would be Monday, at the earliest, before it could be looked at.

I called Fone Fitness, via the WhatsApp number, at 6.30 after the shop had closed.

They have just delivered my replacement phone to Inverness (7.30).

A brand new phone, cheaper than the others quoted to replace the screen, and the price included a case and privacy screen.

If you have an issue with your phone, I highly recommend Fone Fitness..

Friendly staff, phenomenal service..

Although we cannot provide 1:1 to individual children, we pride ourselves on going at the pace of each child, we tailor all classes were we can to suit all individual needs and meet all children were they are.

Our classes may sometimes look different and our teaching style may look appear out of the box but the aim remains the same. The same high expectations for all our students jusy with a tailored syllabus.

LEVEL 2 IN CONFLICT MANAGEMENT (RQF)

Self-Defence is a complicated subject.

Most martial arts classes only focus their lessons around the physical side and combat.

We feel this is wrong.

Students need to learn more that just techniques.

Self-Defence instructors should cover:

- situational awareness,
- conflict management,
- the law
- post incident responsibilities.

With that in mind, we are running a course in conflict management.

Our Level 2 Conflict Management course equips learners with real-world skills to manage challenging situations with confidence.

Suitable for anyone 16+, working in:

✔ Public interaction
✔ Workplace conflict

Yesterday we took a short road trip to Durham, for a seminar with Alan Craig and his students.

The seminar was hosted to raise funds for his SEND charity, but for us it was a great excuse to spend a few hours with old friends.

We want to thank Alan and his students for their hospitality and the opportunity to meet a real life karate "OG".

Also good to see Craig Mackay back at seminars, still bouncing well after all these years.

For those that missed it, you missed a family friendly event with no politics and even less egos.
