Reminder

Bipha Scotland AGM will be held this Thursday 7pm at showcase the street.

The following committee positions will be eligible for nominations/election:

Secretary

Regional Technical Director

Child Protection Officer

Regional Super League Coordinator (Junior Development Officer)

The committee also requests early response from all clubs regarding intention to rejoin including age groups, as early as possible, to allow planning of league format and fixtures for the coming season.

Bipha Scotland are holding a fundraiser to help some of the kids travelling to Fuengirola in October, please come along and support them, any volunteers would be appreciated too.

BIPHA Scotland are working hard to rebuild the sport of Inline hockey having been hit harder than most by the pandemic. We lost a number of junior clubs who never returned after lockdown due to loss of training venues and a year of player development. Inline Hockey can have a positive impact in the development of players for roller and ice hockey even some of the NHL players like Connor Bedard and Alex DeBrincat have a background in roller hockey. Many players find roller hockey beneficial for developing stickhandling, passing and shooting skills so why not give it a go. If you would like more information or advice on setting up don't hesitate to contact us.

The last date for senior trials is Saturday the 12th of July, please note that a decision will be made just days after this date with the hope of entering into a tournament in Market Drayton on the 9th/10th of August. Recruiting teams for 2025/26 Inline Hockey League and Tournaments in Newcastle 🏒..all ages!

We are excited to launch our recruitment for Teams to join us next season in our Newcastle Rink. Following the success of our N.E.S Cup tournaments with U10s and U12s (U14s and U17s dates being confirmed in coming days 😀 and separate invites will be advertised for those summer offerings) we are now working towards our next phase in our hockey development plan, and this is to host regular games.

Our format / game structure is yet to be finalised, but please express intrest even if for 'one off' tournaments. We are now open to accept these offers of interests from teams around the UK.
