Lovely evening for a bit of goalie training last night 👌 and 2 good sessions well done everyone 👍

Keepers of the week were Rhuraidh and Aden 👏👏👏

Rhuraidh is doing really well with us and is is showing a lot of potential. He has good technique and really good hands 👍 last week at training he put in a great performance and really set the standard 👌 well done pal.

Aden is the leader of the older group and has been setting a really high standard for a long time! He is really sound technically in all aspects 👌 best thing about him though is he still always pushes to get better 👍👍

Keepers of the week awards went to Liam and Aaron 👍👍

Liam received a big round of applause last night even though he wasn’t there as he is away at the world cup just now getting the MFGK Academy brand out there stateside ( photo below 🙂) i am sure anyone that was watching training last week would agree that Liam put in an incredible performance 💪👍 it was really something great to witness! Well done pal and hope you’re trip is going well and you are all having a great time! 👍👍

Aaron was again really good last week and is also a massive help to me with the younger lads group. He is really working hard at developing his game and it’s obvious that is paying off because his all round game is now at a really high level! 👌👌 great work pal!! Keeper of the week from the younger class was Olly 👍👍

Olly is a real character who is a pleasure to work with at training. He always works as hard as possible and listens to what he’s being told. I also really like how brave he is which is something you really need as a keeper and unfortunately you can’t really teach it. You either have it or you don’t 👍👍 well done pal keep it going 👍👍

Done lads!

Cameron is really impressing us with his development and is also a really great lad to work with every week 👌 he has really good natural ability and I really like how brave he is 👍 great performance last week pal well done!

Iain is a real prospect as a keeper 🙂 he’s already a very well rounded goalie with very few weak points. It’s really great to be able to work with guys like that because I don’t need to worry about the basics, it’s really just about helping him fine tune everything 👍👍 brilliant work pal!!

Luke is a great lad who always gives absolutely everything at training and rarely misses a session 👌 he is developing really well as a goalie in all aspects of his game and was excellent last week! Well done pal 👍

It’s been great to have Dan back with us after his various injuries because he is a real character and when he puts his mind to it a really good keeper 👌 when he has 1 of “ his nights” he’s capable of heroics 🙂 as long as there’s no flights coming over heading to Dalcross as he is a keen plane spotter 🙄🙂 well done pal!

Sorry for the late post everyone. Well done last week guys 👍👍 keeper of the week awards went to Brodie and Dexter 👏👏👏

Brodie has really impressed us since he joined us because of his great athleticism and bravery. 2 things really important for a goalie 👍👍 he is also willing to listen and work hard every week ( when he hasn’t got himself injured 🙄😂). Brilliant work pal, keep it going 👍👏

Dexter again is still showing what a good keeper he is and continues to push himself every week 👌 he is a great example to everyone 👏 another excellent performance last week! Well done pal 👍

Good effort last night guys. Young team, I think the hot weather has some of us feeling a bit lackadaisical 👀😂 im sure we’ll be back to normal next week though 👍

Keepers of the week awards went to Owen and James 👏👏👏

Owen has done really well since he joined us and has quickly become a guy that we look to to set high standards 👍 he be has. loads of potential as a keeper and I really like the way he put in 100% effort every session 👌

James is an absolute pain in the neck to me quite a lot 😂😂 but with all his bravado and carry on it’s easy to forget he’s actually a very capable keeper! He put in a superb session last week 👌 what James has probably more than any other keeper I have coached is his strong mindset he’s actually really tough and you can’t get him rattled ( Ive tried plenty times 😂) that’s a very important characteristic for a goalie!! 🙂

Great to get back at it again last night on a lovely night for training 👍👍

Keepers of the week awards went to Liam and Aaron who both put in fantastic performances 2 weeks ago at training. 👌👌

Liam literally stopped everything that came near him the other night 👌 he must have been covered in mitre logo marks when he got home 😂 he’s so brave though and will throw himself in front of anything 👍👍 and no broken glasses either!!! 😂😂 which is always a bonus!!

Aaron has grown so much in confidence lately and his performance 2 weeks ago was excellent 👍👍 he is pushing on every week and it’s great to see!! Keep it going pal 💪👍
