So fortunate to have had four perfect days guiding on Skye!! 🤩♥️ On Thursday I joined mother + daughter team Anne and Barbara to climb the Southern 3 Cuillin , and we all swam in Coire Lagan! The next day we climbed the Northern 3, with a visit to the Basteir Tooth and Kings Cave Abseil! On Saturday I met Jo and Louise , to head back up the Northern 3! Finally , we climbed the "middle three" Munros with a very misty traverse between Ghreadaidh and Banachdich , but it only stayed misty long enough to appreciate the views again! Honestly couldn't have dreamed for better weather or better company 😊😊😊

So many beautiful places!!
An awesome day out instructing in the Cairngorms, another 2-day trad climbing course, a family climbing day, two navigation courses, and now I'm back on Skye! 😊

Three more awesome days on Skye, four superb days teaching trad climbing at Kingussie, and a very very sunny ascent of the Old Man of Stoer!❤ Initial efforts to maintain some socialising, cycling and swimming, but now spending every spare minute eating and sleeping!

It's been a great trip over to Skye so far! Finally the heatwave came to the Cuillin! At the weekend I helped Rebecca and Graeme finish their final 5 Skye munros, and today was out with Jen and Allison to summit the Northern 3! Check out the Brocken Spectre in the first pic!

Great three days with Anna and Christina, helping then progress in their trad climbing! By the end of day three they were independently swinging leads on multiptich together, with smooth systems and very good gear placements!😊

I have one space on an Intro to Trad Climbing Course, running on Thurs 28 and Fri 29th July!

The pre-requisite is that you are competent indoor climbing. If you are not yet, I have a couple of possible dates dusing July that we could do a crash course and get you up to speed!

Finally it's shorts weather!! 🙌 😁 Huge kudos to Lisa and Steven for two big 10+ hour days in blazing sunshine, overcoming a lot of fears on the Southern half! After we all summited MichChoinnich this afternoon, I took Steven on an extra adventure lap- around Collies Ledge and Kings Chimney (rock climb!) to regain the summit and return to Lisa sunbathing on the crest! I even got to climb it twice when he dropped my cam back down the route! Whaaat an amazing two days!

Lots of great days out on Skye (with weather either extremely nice or extremely bad!) , and some excellent rock climbing on The Cobbler and Ardvreckie Wall!
Highlight for me was guiding William up the In Pinn, who conquered a lot of nerves and acheived a longterm dream (in toughhhh weather)!
