Let’s teach young talent how to be mindful and strong from the inside and apply the Pilates principles they learn in this class not only in their sports/activities but also in the classroom and all other aspects of their lives.
How can Pilates benefit teenagers?
+ Core : Pilates focuses on strengthening the core muscles which are essential for stability, balance, and overall strength.
+ Posture: Pilates helps teenagers develop awareness of their posture and by strengthening the core muscles it leads to better alignment and posture.
+ Stress : Pilates incorporates mindful breathing techniques which can help teenagers manage stress and anxiety.
+ Injury : By improving strength, flexibility, and body awareness Pilates can help teenagers prevent injuries, especially during sports or other physical activities.
+ Concentration: Pilates requires focus and concentration, which can translate to improved concentration and attention span in other areas of life, such as academics.
+ Confidence: As teenagers see improvements in their strength, flexibility, and overall fitness through Pilates, their confidence and self-esteem can increase.
This class is suitable for children aged 12-17 years.
