The glitter has barely settled on an absolutely INCREDIBLE Inverness Glitterball 2026… but we’re already being asked:

Plans for INVERNESS GLITTERBALL 2027 are beginning to take shape, and we’d LOVE to hear from anyone interested in getting involved — in whatever way suits you!

💜💙🪩 THIS IS WHY WE DID IT. 🪩💙💜

Over the last few days, we’ve shared lots of thank-yous to the incredible people who made the Inverness Glitterball 2026 happen.

But behind every rehearsal, fundraiser, raffle, ticket, sequin and slightly terrified dancer 😂 was the reason we did it all…

💙 Snap Inverness – Special Needs Action Project.

SNAP provides incredible opportunities and support for children, young people and adults with additional support needs across the Highlands — helping them make friends, build confidence and independence, enjoy new experiences and simply have FUN. 💜

Their services also provide something hugely important for parents, carers and families — precious respite from caring responsibilities.

And with our Glitterball total now sitting at almost £74,000, the impact of what Team Glitterball 2026 has achieved really starts to sink in. 🤯💜

SNAP needs to raise over £500,000 every year to continue providing its vital services, while more than 100 people are currently waiting to access their support.

So every fundraiser mattered.

Every raffle ticket mattered.
Every sponsored dance mattered.
Every event ticket mattered.
Every donation — large or small — mattered.

Together, all those individual acts of generosity became almost £74,000 to help SNAP continue creating opportunities, friendships, independence, respite, experiences and memories for local people and their families. 💜

The dancing was fabulous.
The fundraising was phenomenal.
The memories will last forever.

But THIS was always the reason. 💜

✨🪩 IT REALLY DOES TAKE A VILLAGE… 🪩✨

As our Glitterball thank-yous continue, this one is for some of the wonderful people who mucked in, stepped up and helped wherever they were needed — both throughout the journey and over Glitterball weekend itself. 💜

And yes… you might recognise a few names! 😂 Some of these fabulous humans have already appeared in our thank-you posts, particularly our Glam Squad — but that’s because they didn’t just do ONE job!

Once the hair was styled, make-up finished and tans were glowing, some of them stayed on, changed hats and became part of our event team too — acting as runners, helping behind the scenes and basically going wherever an extra pair of hands was needed. 🥰

So, in the true spirit of IT TAKES A VILLAGE, another huge thank you goes to:

There are so many little jobs involved in putting on Glitterball that most people will never see. And quite often, the people who have already done their actual job are the very same ones quietly getting stuck into another one! 💜

So if you’re thinking “Haven’t they thanked some of these people already?” — YES! 😂 And they absolutely deserve another mention.

To this little corner of our Glitterball village, thank you for giving us your time, your skills, your energy and your willingness to muck in and help make the whole weekend run that little bit more smoothly.
