✨ Meet the Teacher: Caoimhe Keohne ✨

In Gaeilge, anam means “soul.” For Caoimhe, this word represents the wild soul within each of us - the quiet wisdom that calls us back to ourselves and to the natural world.

Growing up along the western shores of Ireland, Caoimhe was shaped by wild landscapes, ancient stories, stones and the rhythms of the seasons.

Later, while living in Melbourne, she found yoga - and it profoundly changed her life. Within a few years, she was teaching alongside her work in environmental advocacy, bringing together a love of inner exploration and a deep connection to the earth.

In practice with Caoimhe, movement is approached with mindfulness and intention. Her classes weave together breath, mythology, nature and the wisdom of the seasons, inviting you to reconnect with your body, your inner landscape and the world around you.

A little reminder that Soul Seeker Yoga is always open to visitors 🌿

Ricco flew in from the USA and joined a Wednesday night Soul Flow class on his last evening in Inverness, and this is what he had to say:

“I flew in and out of Inverness from the USA to travel through the Highlands. On the last night of my trip I attended the Wednesday night Soul Flow class. Both the instructors and local yogis were so kind and welcoming. The space is airy and bright. I was pleased to find this caliber of a studio in Inverness and I hope to return!”

If you’re travelling through the Highlands, you’re welcome to join us for a single class.

No membership needed - just book online.

Sacred Provence: A Magdalene Path
A yoga retreat in Provence
24th – 29th April 2027 🌹

We have some news to share, and honestly, it feels like the right news.

After much reflection, we’ve made the decision to move this retreat from autumn to spring. There’s been a quiet but persistent sense this year that people need a little more space before committing to bigger experiences, and we wanted to honour that rather than push against it.
But more than the practical reasons, something deeper became clear: this retreat belongs in spring.

The themes we’ll be exploring together - the path of Mary Magdalene, the Venus cycle, descent and return, devotion, remembrance and renewal, feel profoundly at home in Provence in late April. The blossoming landscape, the light, the awakening energy of the season. The retreat itself seemed to be asking for it.
So we move with trust, and with a sense that the timing is now exactly right.

Join Janine in the beautiful landscape of Provence for five nights of yoga, rest, pilgrimage and exploration of the Rose path through the wisdom and presence of Mary Magdalene.

What’s included:

🌹 5 nights in single or twin ensuite accommodation
🌹 Plant-based brunch and dinner daily
🌹 Twice daily yoga, with one class on arrival and departure days
🌹 Sound baths, cacao and optional massage with Emma Macrae
🌹 Visits to Magdalene and Provençal sacred sites
🌹 Mats and props provided

Luxury Twin: £1695
Luxury King Single: £1995
Deposits from £450 - payment plans available

Uttanasana | Standing Forward Fold ✨

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is fold forward, soften the grip and let gravity do the work.

Uttanasana asks for less effort and more yielding. While the hamstrings and spine lengthen, the deeper practice is one of allowing - releasing tension, quietening the mind and returning awareness to the body and breath.

The head drops below the heart. The nervous system settles. Something in us remembers how to be still.
It’s not about touching the floor. It’s about cultivating a little more humility, presence and ease within yourself.

Uttanasana reminds us that surrender isn’t weakness, it’s the wisdom of knowing when to soften enough to come home to yourself.

~ Lengthens hamstrings, calves and spine
~ Releases tension in the neck, shoulders and back
~ Calms the nervous system and quietens the mind
~ Encourages grounding and introspection
~ Can help relieve fatigue and mental overwhelm

Meet Janine Cade ✨ .yoga

Janine is the creator, owner and teacher at Soul Seeker Yoga.

She is deeply passionate about yoga and loves sharing the practice with anyone who feels called to explore it. For Janine, teaching is a constant source of inspiration, a space where she gets to witness students grow, soften, strengthen and flourish in their own practice.

Yoga first came into Janine’s life as a teenager, alongside a deep curiosity for the inner journey and the mystery of life. That thread has stayed with her ever since.

In her twenties, she discovered postural yoga through Ashtanga Vinyasa while living in London, and what began as a physical practice soon became something much deeper. Over time, through the natural ebb and flow of life, her practice became more devoted - until she knew that teaching yoga was part of her dharma.

Today, Janine’s work is rooted in helping people reconnect with body, mind and spirit through meaningful, supportive and embodied practice.

🌑 SUPER NEW MOON ∙ TA**US ∙ COMING HOME 🌑

The Ta**us New Moon arrives as an invitation to return.
Not to escape the movement of life, but to find the steady ground beneath it. To come back to the body. To the breath. To the present moment. To the quiet intelligence of what is real, simple and sustaining.

Ta**us teaches us through the senses. Through touch, texture, nourishment, rhythm. Through the steady pulse of the earth beneath our feet. It reminds us that abundance is not always more, faster, bigger - sometimes it is enoughness. A slower exhale. A body that feels safe. A moment of beauty fully received.

This Super New Moon carries a particular charge. With currents of change, surprise and shifting perspective in the air, we may feel the contrast between our longing for stability and the ways life is asking us to adapt.

The invitation is not to hold on more tightly.
It is to stay rooted enough to remain open.
To listen for the needs of the body.
To question what security really means.
To notice where our definitions of worth, value and abundance are ready to evolve.

Under this Ta**us New Moon, consider:

✨ What helps me feel grounded in my body?
✨ Where am I being asked to soften my grip?
✨ What does true abundance feel like, beyond the material?
✨ How can I create steadiness without closing to change?

This moon reminds us that grounding is not the same as staying still.

We can be rooted and responsive.
Soft and strong.
Held by the earth, while allowing life to move through us in new ways.

May this New Moon bring you home to your body, your breath and your own inner steadiness. May you trust the changes unfolding, without abandoning the ground of yourself 🌑🌿

As Mental Health Awareness Week gently comes to a close, we’re reflecting on one of the deeper gifts of yoga.

Beyond movement, beyond flexibility, yoga offers us a way to come back into relationship with ourselves.

To breathe.
To listen.
To soften the armour we carry in the body.
To create space around stress, overwhelm and self-judgement.

Yoga is not a cure-all, but it can be a steady companion for our mental wellbeing, helping us return to the body, the breath, and the quiet place within that often gets buried beneath the noise of everyday life.

Sometimes healing looks like rest.
Sometimes it looks like one full breath.
Sometimes it looks like simply arriving on the mat exactly as you are.

We’ve shared more reflections on why yoga matters for mental health over on the blog.
