STOP WORRYING ABOUT THE SIZE ON THE LABEL.

2 pairs of jeans.

2 different sizes.

Same company.

Same style but one pair has rips in the knees and one pair doesn’t.

Both fit.

Measured them against each other AND…

They’re both the SAME SIZE despite one being a 10 and one being a 12.

The size on the label MEANS NOTHING.

Stop putting yourself down if things don’t fit how you want them to

Instead remember this…

You are not made to fit into the clothes, the clothes are made to fit onto you.

If they fit and you are comfortable that’s all that matters, NOT the number on the label.

There are so many different diets and opinions about what works and what doesn’t work online, and this can all get very overwhelming. It can be difficult to know what you should be doing to lose weight and reach your goals.

Truth is, it really doesn’t need to be that complicated.

The key to reaching your goals is to make your journey sustainable and achievable by staying consistent and enjoying what you are doing. This is exactly what I implement with each and every one of my clients and I can honestly say it’s the best way to see long lasting results!

3 LESSONS MY PUPPY HAS TAUGHT ME WHICH COULD HELP YOU TOO!

I have had Loki for a week now, he has been good as gold but he has definitely reinforced some lessons for me which I thought I’d share with you

Lesson 1:
Results don’t just happen over night. What you did today isn’t going to make you see instant results tomorrow, this has to be worked at. Results take time.

Lesson 2:
Consistency is key. You can’t expect to do something once or a couple of times and get to where you want to be. You have to work at it day in and day out and you’ll eventually get the results you want.

Lesson 3:
Trust the process. Trust that what you’re doing will get you the results you want and keep going, do not give up.

These 3 lessons should be taken into every day life, whether that’s with your training or you’re working towards a new qualification, whatever it might be always remember these 3 things!

You will get there, just keep going!

STEP OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE

You have probably heard a lot of people say “great things happen outside of your comfort zone” and it is so true!

Staying in your comfort zone is exactly what it sounds, it’s comfortable.

You are never challenging yourself to do more

You are never challenging yourself to push harder

You are just constantly plodding along doing the same thing day in day out

This is not going to get you results you want, whether that’s in the gym or just in life in general.

The minute you push through the comfort blanket and break down the barriers, amazing things will happen!

Try and push through being comfortable and really push yourself to your max.

Are you looking in the mirror and not liking what you see looking back at you?

Are you feeling lost with your training?

Feeling nervous about going to the gym and not knowing what to do?

Not sure how to get back on track to feel your best and be your best?

When J started training with me she felt all of these things. She came to me with the goals to lose weight, gain body confidence, feel her best and have the confidence that when she goes to the gym she knows exactly what she is doing.

There were a couple of bumps along the way but J’s consistency and patience really paid off and the results she has achieved have been incredible, not just physically but mentally too.

We have focused on:
🔥Consistency over perfection
🔥Having a solid, progressive gym plan in place that makes J feel comfortable in the gym environment
🔥Moving more throughout the day
🔥Daily habits and goals
🔥How to deal with stress

During our time together J has achieved the following:

🔥Lost 9kg
🔥Gained confidence in the gym
🔥Lost a total of 33cm - 10cm of those being from her waist alone!
🔥Increased body confidence

There were NO drastic lifestyle changes, NO major diet changes, J was still able to ENJOY all her favourite foods without feeling guilty - now who doesn’t want that?!

We all have it in our heads that to lose weights and reach out goals we have to made dramatic changes to what we do each day when in reality this is not the case, and J is proof of this.

Small changes each day adds up to big results.

LET’S CATCH UP…

It’s been a while!!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year 🙌

So I have been completely MIA for the last month for a couple of reasons:

👉I caught the illness everyone seemed to be getting and it wiped me out for a good 3 weeks.
👉I was struggling mentally with the move up to Scotland and it caused a lot of stress and anxiety.
👉I felt like I had hit a wall and couldn’t move past it.
🎄My priority over Christmas was to spend most of my time with friends and family before I left.

I always used to hate the idea of having a lot of time off from work, however this time off has taught me a lot:

✨Time off allows you to re-energise and re-focus
✨My business isn’t going to completely fall apart if I take a bit of time for myself
✨Not all results will be lost
✨Listening to your body is the most important thing you can do
✨You are number one and you have to put yourself and your happiness first.

So, my message to you is this

If you are feeling run down, or like you have hit a wall you can’t move past, or you just feel like you need a break, It’s OK to take some time off.

Take some time to yourself!
Be kind to yourself!

I’m super excited to be back working and can’t wait to catch up with you all 💜🤍

IS THE FESTIVE SEASON FILLING YOU WITH OVERWHELM??

It is probably the most social time of the year.

Work dos, Christmas parties, family events, Christmas Day itself!

Are you worried that you are going to ruin progress you have worked hard to make throughout the year?

Is it leaving you feel overwhelmed?

Let me reassure you now, you will not ruin all of your progress by enjoying yourself.

Here are a few of my top tips for smashing the festive season and going into the new year feeling better than ever:

🎄Plan ahead, have a look at the menu before you go out and know what you are going to have in advance.
🎄Stick to clear spirits and diet mixers as these will save on calories, Prosecco is also a better option too.
🎄Keep as active as possible - keep your NEAT up before and after the events.
🎄Train with purpose and intensity.
🎄Don’t use one night out as an excuse, jump right back on track the next day!

Christmas Day itself is ONLY ONE DAY! Your years worth of hard work and progress will not be ruined if you indulge for one day of the year! Enjoy yourself, have fun, make memories!
