Congratulations to Kyle.

It is wonderful to see Kyle achieving success while gaining regular playing time at Dalkeith Thistle. He had a fantastic season playing regular Super League and B Team matches.

I also believe it is important to acknowledge that while our goal is to develop players for Futsal Escocia, this is not always feasible, and we must prioritise what is in the best interest of the individual player.

Kyle moved to Dalkeith Thistle to secure more playing time, but his relocation to Edinburgh for university also makes staying local a more practical arrangement for his circumstances.

We have seen similar examples with Jude Henderson and Liam Kennedy, who moved to Glasgow to play for Joga Futsal Academy.

This is what we want. To create players who remain in futsal because they want to play the sport.

A pathway isn't always to your team.

Kyle produced some outstanding performances between the posts throughout our Superleague campaign and fully deserves the recognition.

Our Futsal Escocia Winter Leagues return for the 2026/27 season, providing players with weekly opportunities to experience the speed, intensity and decision-making that make futsal such a brilliant development tool. 🔥

This season we will have:

⚽ Liga 1–8 | Mixed Leagues
👧 Girls Only U11, U13 & U15 Leagues 🤞

🏆 Liga 1, 2 & 8 will be competitive leagues.
⚽ Liga 3–7 will remain non-competitive, with the emphasis firmly on player and team development.

Expect lots of touches, quick decisions, 1v1s, goals and plenty of PROPER FUTSAL! 🔥⚽️

Our leagues aren’t just about winning. They’re about creating an environment where players are constantly involved, challenged to think, react, make decisions and play.

🏫 OUR FIRST WEEK AT CALEDONIA HIGH SCHOOL

What a fantastic first week for some groups at our new home in Rosyth!

The introduction of several new groups has enhanced the opportunities we can offer players across the programme—including our Girls Only sessions on Fridays and a new Futsal Niños session on Sundays.

It has been brilliant to see so many players enjoying the facilities and becoming part of this exciting new chapter for Futsal Escocia.

And we’re only getting started…

🔹 Small Group Sessions begin in October
🔹 Subsidised access to the outdoor futsal court is coming very soon

These additions will provide even more opportunities for players of different ages, genders, abilities and experience levels to play, develop and enjoy the game.

A huge thank you to all our players, parents, coaches and staff at Community Use Schools for making our first week such a positive one.

⚽ SMALL GROUP SESSIONS | STARTING OCTOBER ⚽

It has been an exciting start to September with new girls only sessions and Futsal Niños sessions at Caledonia High School and it isn't stopping there!!

Our new Small Group Football Sessions start in October and we believe they offer something not available in Fife at a fraction of the price of 1-2-1 sessions.

Themed and structured sessions with a UEFA B level coach, provide players with focused, individual coaching within an intense and realistic training environment.

🔹 Small-sided games
🔹 Football-specific FITNESS

Every player will also receive:

✅ Individual feedback following sessions
✅ A personal development plan
✅ Coaching tailored to their individual needs

Places are near capacity. If the session you want is full, please go on the waiting list. Priority for future sessions will go to players on waiting lists and they will also have the option to be involved when players are unavailable.

GIRLS ONLY FUTSAL | CALEDONIA HIGH SCHOOL

We were delighted with our first girls only sessions at Caledonia High School last night. The effort, application and standard of the girls involved, highlighted some high potential across both groups.

We have 25 players registered, but we want to expand further in terms of numbers and age groups.

Our vision is clear — to replicate the successful pathway we have created for boys and build the same opportunities for girls.

We want to create a pathway where girls can start young, develop through futsal, progress through the age groups and ultimately have opportunities to play at senior level with Futsal Escocia.

Congratulations to our 3v3 and 2v2 winners from last night’s internal team tournaments! 👏⚽

We will shortly be opening additional spaces and creating more opportunities for Futsal Escocia Academy players to join our teams and compete in the Futsal Escocia Winter Leagues.
