⚽️ U14s Storms Match Report
Storms v Glenrothes Strollers 💙💛

Storms welcomed Glenrothes Strollers in the League Plate on Saturday, with the girls delighted to have Eva back between the sticks after her injury lay-off 🧤👏

First Half

The game started cautiously as both teams took time to settle and find their rhythm. Storms eventually broke the deadlock through Addison before Rachael quickly added another as the girls began to take control of the game ⚽️⚽️

Glenrothes responded well and got themselves back into the contest, but Storms continued to play with confidence and determination. The girls finished the half strongly, with further goals from Rachael and Addison rewarding some excellent attacking football 💪🔥

Second Half

Storms came flying out for the second half and continued to press forward. Addison completed her hat-trick early in the half after another strong attacking move 🎩⚽️

Despite Glenrothes continuing to battle, Storms maintained their intensity and attacking threat throughout. Sophie then got herself on the scoresheet twice, including a well-taken penalty, as the girls continued to create chances and play some excellent football ⚽️👏

The goals kept coming, with Rachael completing her hat-trick before Millie B and Beau both added their names to the scoresheet after strong team play and some great passing moves.

Key Moment

The moment of the match came right at the end. Through one-on-one with the goalkeeper and on the verge of her fourth goal, Addison showed incredible awareness and teamwork by squaring the ball to Sophie, allowing her teammate to complete her own hat-trick 🎩💙

A fantastic act of unselfishness and a perfect example of the team spirit that runs throughout this squad 👏⭐️

🌟 Parents’ Girl of the Game: Addison

With hat-tricks, goals and outstanding performances all over the pitch, choosing a team Girl of the Game was incredibly difficult. The Parents’ award went to Addison, not only for her excellent performance but also for her selfless assist to help a teammate achieve her hat-trick.

A fantastic team performance from every player. The football, teamwork and attitude shown throughout the match were outstanding. Well done girls 💛⚽️

⚽️ U12s Sirens Match Report💙💛

The Sirens welcomed Maryfield to Ballast Bank on a warm Saturday morning for what turned out to be a closely contested and entertaining game 👏☀️

First Half

The game started with both sides evenly matched, with plenty of effort and good football on display from both teams. Maryfield managed to break the deadlock but the Sirens responded brilliantly.

A fantastic attacking move involving great passing and movement saw Cali provide the perfect assist for Pola, who finished well ⚽️👏

Maryfield shortly afterwards added a goal and then added another. Despite the setback, the Sirens continued to battle and showed great determination throughout.

Second Half

The girls came out fighting and were rewarded when Jorja struck a superb effort from outside the box, giving the Maryfield goalkeeper no chance ⚽️🔥

The Sirens pushed hard for another goal, continuing to work for each other and creating opportunities, but Maryfield held firm.

Overall

A competitive game played in great spirit, with plenty of positives to take away from the performance. The girls never stopped working and showed great character throughout the match 💙💛

⚽️ U12s Sambas Match Report💙💛

First Half

The Sambas made the trip north to St Andrews on a hot Saturday afternoon and produced a fantastic comeback 👏☀️

The girls started the game brightly, pressing high and looking dangerous from the outset. Lily-Mae worked tirelessly down the left-hand side, causing problems for the St Andrews defence with her energy and determination. Despite the positive start, St Andrews scored against the run of play to take the lead

Second Half

The second half began with another setback as St Andrews found a goal into the second half. However, the Sambas showed tremendous character and resilience, refusing to let their heads drop. The girls responded brilliantly, keeping St Andrews pinned back in their own half and creating plenty of attacking opportunities 💪⚽️

Key Moments

With 15 minutes remaining, Grace produced a moment of magic. Picking the ball up around the halfway line, she made a lung-busting run through the defence before calmly slotting home to pull one back for the Sambas 🔥⚽️

Just a few minutes later, Grace was at it again, finding the net for her second goal of the game and complete a superb comeback 👏⚽️

The Sambas weren’t finished there. With five minutes left on the clock, Isla drove through the middle and finished brilliantly to score, sparking celebrations among the team and supporters alike ⚽️⭐️

There was nearly time for one more as Grace came agonisingly close to completing her hat-trick, only to be denied by the woodwork in the closing moments.

A fantastic performance from every player on a very warm day, showing great determination, teamwork and belief to turn the game around 💙💛

⚽️ Swifts v Scone ⚽️

Another away day for the girls today as they travelled through to Perth to take on a very strong Scone side — and what a performance they put in 👏

Despite going behind early from a counter attack, the girls showed fantastic character and never let their heads drop. From then on, they played some brilliant football, getting on the ball, linking up superbly and creating chance after chance throughout the game 💙

The attacking play was outstanding, with the girls keeping Scone under pressure for long spells. Mirin deservedly got on the scoresheet after a brilliant team move, calmly finding the bottom corner ⚽️

On another day, the scoreline could have been very different, with the woodwork and some excellent goalkeeping denying the girls several more goals.

Full of energy from start to finish, worked tirelessly for the team and thoroughly deserved her award 👏💪

Massive well done to all the girls for the effort, attitude and quality of football on show today 💙
