We re-did our Mill Green and Writtle Forest walk this week. In December it was muddy and carpeted in orange leaves, whereas now the ground is solid, the trees have their first shoots of green, and the deer are sunbathing. Head over to the blog to check out the route.

Today we’re Love Wild Walks aka Love Winter Walks ! Snow isn’t that common here, enjoying it while it lasts (with a walk from home of course, !)

"The eroding slate cliffs had spectacular geographical folds but looked fragile and brittle, with shards of rock scattered around like dust and shredded paper. The ragged rocks at the headland’s base were tall, and we hopped between them looking for crabs as the incoming tide steadily flooded the pools" - read more about this coastal walk around and on our blog.

Highlight of our walk yesterday was coming across this bioluminescent fungi. Taken at about 3:30pm, sun was starting to set and these little fellas were gently glowing!
