Clee Town Ladies Tillets U10’s V Immingham Pilgrims U9’s.

We wrapped up our campaign in the sunshine yesterday with a trip over to Cleethorpes 🌊 and what a way to finish! The boys were absolutely on fire 🔥 from the first whistle to the last, playing some of the best football we’ve seen all season. Jake got us off to the perfect start with an early goal ⚽ quickly followed by Hugo adding a second. Harry and Archie then joined the party, both getting their names on the scoresheet 🙌 . The passing and movement today were a joy to watch 👏 sharp, confident, and full of energy! Jake, Archie, and Hugo each grabbed another ⚽⚽⚽ before Harry went on a scoring spree, firing home three more 💥 Archie then added a brilliant double, including one from a beautifully weighted pass by livewire George 🎯⚡ Seth got in on the action too with a well earned brace ⚽⚽ and Hugo rounded things off to complete the scoring. At the back, we welcomed Sam back between the sticks after his operation 🧤 and it was like he’d never been away! Rainn and Raph kept things calm and composed in defence 🛡️ showing great confidence on the ball. A fantastic team performance all round. Now it’s time for a well earned rest 🛌 and to recharge the batteries 🔋 ahead of tournament season! Well done everyone involved and thank you to our sponsors for their continued support 👏🏻

These boys have been brilliant, winning every game since Christmas is no small feat, but what’s even better is how they’re doing it. You can really see the progress in their fundamentals, smarter decision making, confidence on the ball, and a real willingness to move it and play for each other. Most importantly, they’re learning what teamwork looks like, supporting one another, communicating, and enjoying the game together. It’s a great group growing the right way.

Immingham Pilgrims U9’s V Grimsby Borough Bulldogs U9’s.

Last time out we hosted our final home fixture of the season 🏟️ and wow what a performance from the Pilgrims! From the very first whistle to the last, the boys were absolutely on fire 🔥 . The football played over the past couple of months has been a joy to watch, and this game was no different 👏⚽ . Goals were flying in left, right and centre 🚀 with Archie ⚽⚽ George ⚽⚽ Jake ⚽⚽ Rainn ⚽⚽ and Harry ⚽⚽ all bagging a couple each in a dominant display 💪 . The teamwork, passing and energy were top class throughout 🔄✨ Seth ⚽ and Hugo ⚽ also got themselves on the scoresheet to cap off a fantastic all round team performance 🙌 massive credit to Grimsby Borough Bulldogs 🐶 who kept battling right until the final whistle 💙 great spirit shown all game 👊 a brilliant way to round off the home fixtures, we are so proud of every single one of the lads! Laceby Mammoths FC U9’s Vs Immingham Pilgrims U9’s.

On Sunday, the boys made the trip over to Laceby 🌧️💨 facing some tough conditions with swirling wind, rain, and a real bite in the air 🥶 but none of that slowed them down! From the first whistle, the team were in scintillating form 🔥 playing some fantastic football throughout. The passing, movement, and link up play were a joy to watch 👏 proper team football at its best. The goals we scored were top quality 🚀🥅 built from great teamwork and confidence on the ball. Every player played their part, showing great energy and determination 💪💙 . Credit to Laceby as well they never let their heads drop and kept battling right until the end 👏 . Fantastic day for the U9’s at the 3v3 event ☀️⚽️

Plenty of goals, loads of great tackles, and endless enthusiasm from every player out there. The effort and teamwork on display were brilliant, and most importantly, everyone played with big smiles and enjoyed every minute in the sun!

Last weekend we took part in the Festival Event down at Bradley, and what a day it was 🙌 the boys had a great run, narrowly missing out in the semi final against the eventual winners. Here’s how we got on 🫶🏻

Vs Grimsby Borough Bulldogs 🐶
We came flying out the traps in this one 🚀 Jake was on fire, providing two brilliant assists for Hugo to seal an impressive performance and get us off to a perfect start ⚽⚽👏

Vs Clee Town Ladies ⚔️
A tough fixture up next. Clee Town Ladies raced into an early lead with a couple of goals before Hugo pulled one back to keep us in it 💪 unfortunately, they grabbed a third to take the win.

Vs Barton Juniors 🔵
A tight, hard fought game decided by a single moment. George fired home from close range to give us the edge 🎯 we defended superbly at the other end, frustrating Barton and seeing the game out 🛡️

Quarter Final Vs GCW Town 🏁
The boys meant business in this one! Rainn tapped home from Hugo’s cross to get us going ⚡ Hugo then added another to seal our place in the semi final 🙌

Semi Final Vs Humberston Kestrels 🦅
A really close game with chances at both ends. Raph pulled off some fantastic saves early on 🧤 keeping us level. Jake came so close to putting us ahead, but his shot agonisingly hit the post 😩 Kestrels grabbed a late winner to edge through to the final.

Last night was a special one for our boys ⚽️🔥

They were invited to be mascots for Immingham AFC in their War Memorial Cup Final against Bradley FC, an experience they won’t forget anytime soon 🙌 from taking penalties on the pitch 🥅 to walking out of the tunnel with the players 🚶‍♂️⚽️ it gave them a real taste of what we hope is ahead in the years to come ⭐️

Most importantly, they had a great time with their teammates, making memories and enjoying every moment 💙

Clee Town Ladies U9’s V Immingham Pilgrims U9’s.

The boys made the trip over to Cleethorpes this weekend to take on a very impressive Clee Town Ladies side 🌊⚽️ with bare numbers in the squad, it was always going to take a real team effort, and the lads certainly delivered 💪 . Harry started the game between the sticks 🧤 and did a brilliant job, commanding his box well and dealing confidently with everything that came his way. After his stint in goal, he moved back into defence where he showed strong defending and excellent decision making on the ball throughout. At the back, Rainn was his usual commanding self. Using his pace and awareness to great effect, he kept things solid defensively and even pushed forward to grab himself a well deserved goal ⚡️🥅 . Alongside him, Raph was relentless, not allowing the Clee Town forwards a moment to breathe. He stayed tight to his opponents all game and even stepped up to help the team with a couple of quarters in goal 👏🧤 . On the right wing, George was full of energy. His close control and dribbling caused problems all game, and he capped off a great performance with a couple of goals and assists 🔥⚽️ . In midfield, Archie was pulling the strings. He worked tirelessly to win the ball back and get the team moving forward, and he topped off a fantastic display by rattling in a superb hat trick 🎩⚽️⚽️⚽️ . Out on the left, Hugo was a constant menace, taking on his defender at every opportunity. His deliveries into the box were excellent, and he also chipped in with a couple of goals and assists of his own 👟⚽️ . Up front, Jake led the line brilliantly. His pressing was excellent, he linked up superbly with his teammates, and he finished the game with a couple of goals and an assist to his name 👊🥅 . The scoreline certainly didn’t reflect how well the Clee Town Ladies played. They were fantastic from start to finish and should be very proud of their performance. Healing Hotspurs U9’s V Immingham Pilgrims U9’s.

The boys are back in action tomorrow, but here’s how they got on last weekend against our rivals from down the road 👀🔥 . We found ourselves a goal down early on, which certainly woke the lads up ⚡ from that moment on the team kicked through the gears and completely turned the game on its head. What followed was a brilliant display of football. The boys moved the ball well, worked hard for each other, and played with real confidence as we went on to dismantle our opponents comfortably 🎯⚽ there was some fantastic team play on show, great energy all over the pitch, and plenty of smiles to match the quality football being played 😄👏 since the Christmas break the whole squad has been really impressive, and it’s great to see the progress they’re making every week 📈 let’s keep the momentum going tomorrow 💪⚽ well done everyone involved and a big thank you to our sponsors for their continued support 👏🏻

⚽🔇 It’s Silent Support Weekend across grassroots football!

This weekend, clubs up and down the country are supporting the initiative from the FA to help young players enjoy the game with less pressure from the sidelines and more freedom to play, learn and make their own decisions.

The idea is simple:
👏 Applaud the effort
🤐 No shouting instructions
⚽ Let the kids play

It might feel a bit strange at first with quieter touchlines, but it gives players the chance to communicate with each other, build confidence and enjoy their football.

Let’s get behind the players and make it a great weekend of grassroots football! 💙⚽
