Pure Pilates Ilkley Kirstin is a Romana's Pilates Teacher Trainer. The studio offers Classical Matwork (online only) and in-person Private, Duet and Small Group Equipment Classes.

Romana’s Pilates studio, with over 25 years experience as a teacher, an original fully equipped studio and Kirstin has trained with the best in the UK and around the world. Now based at 2 Crescent Court, just off Brooke Street, still right in the centre of Ilkley - only 1-200 yards from the original studio at The Old Armoury. Pure Pilates opened its door in 2010, expanding in 2013 and in 2021 moved to its present location. There are 2 fully equipped studios. The studio is led by Kirstin Ferrie, who was one of the first group of teachers to sit the newly set up PMA exam in 2005, were called the pioneers at one time, being the only group to sit and pass the exam without any. Kirstin always seeks to improve her knowledge. She is also Romana's Pilates Teacher Trainer and thoroughly enjoys the process of seeing her apprentices grow and develop their skills. As the veil is slowly being lifted & people are realising Pilates is not just the reformer, I encourage you to take your time to research, be honest in and with your body, DON’T RUSH….. there is such beauty & depth in the discoveries you’ll make when you don’t rush. Find the joy and calm of gaining mastery over your body…. Enjoy when it’s hard to find the control and most importantly find the FUN.
