New Rock Stars after-school club will be starting next week with sessions on Monday and Wednesday at 4:30pm and 5:20pm.
We will be introducing some different fun activities and games, as well as your little Rockstar being able to practice their climbing to beat their best time, and of course the disco climb at the end, which they all love. We will be continuing to award our โRock Star of the Weekโ with a trophy, which is not just for the best climber, but may be for great effort, improvement or just being a super star.
Rock Stars is intended to be fun, engaging and to develop climbers experience and confidence. The sessions are intended to run with parents present, but not in the arena. They will play some climb-based games and have their achievements recorded and monitored to give a feeling of progression and accomplishment. For our more advanced climbers we will be learning new climbing techniques to help master even the harder walls and challenges. How can an โEgyptianโ or an โElvis Legโ improve your climbing and stamina? Will an โUnder Clingโ allow you to reach a difficult hold? Expert tips to master even the hardest walls or challenge. We can also teach climbers the figure of 8 knot, which is crucial for all standard rope climbing.
