🏆U12 Sharks were the overall champions at the Killinghall Tournament this weekend, beating Pannal Ash 2-1 in golden goal extra time.

In the Trophy competition our U12 Stingrays narrowly missed reaching the final, losing out to a golden goal decider.

A really great performance from all our girls 👏🏻

Huge thanks to Killinghall for such a well organised tournament.

⚽️NEW DATE ADDED - JULY 2nd - MATCH⚽️

After two successful session we are still welcoming players for our first, u23’s and u18’s teams to come try us out!

There are still places remaining on Thursday 25th June and now, take part in an inter-squad match on Thursday 2nd July!

Pre-Season Starts on Thursday 9th July - with new players welcome to attend.

We are delighted to announce the retention of the experienced, Helmo Silva!

The Portuguese defender joined towards the end of the season, and his leadership, character, energy and quality helped massively improve the squad, bringing experience from clubs such as Albion Sports, Garforth Town and more.

2026/27 – The Challenge Awaits

The teams are confirmed, and we now know exactly who stands in our way this season in the NERWFL Southern Division.

We’re excited to welcome five new opponents to the league:

🆕 Thackley AFC Women
🆕 Knaresborough Town AFC Women
🆕 Bottesford Town FC Women
🆕 Evolution Ladies
🆕 Cleethorpes Town FC Women

Alongside familiar challenges from FC Farsley, Altofts, Lower Hopton, Rossington Main, Sheffield Wednesday and York City Development, the 2026/27 campaign promises to be one of the most competitive seasons yet.

For us, this season is about more than results. It’s about continuing to build a club and environment where players can thrive, develop and enjoy their football while competing at the highest level possible.

New opponents. New rivalries. New journeys.

We can’t wait to test ourselves against every team in this division and represent Ilkley Town AFC Women with pride.
