Burning the midnight oil definitely pays off - our cardio zone is finished!

While you were sensibly sleeping, we spent the night sweating and deeply questioning our life choices so you can come in and question yours on a treadmill.

We've kitted the space out with a premium setup designed to elevate every single drop of sweat.

Next up on the hit list: finishing the bathrooms, so you'll soon be able to wash away the regret in style.

A thank you to all for your patience while we're getting everything over the line. It's not long now!

We know we promised the cardio suite would be up and running by now.

Unfortunately, the electrical cables are proving to be a bit more stubborn than we thought. We’re still getting everything wired up, so the cardio zone needs just a little more time.

But on the plus side, our selectorised weights suite is prepped and ready for action.

We're still waiting on a few arrivals - the Rotary Torso, Calf Press, and Prone Leg Curl are currently stuck on back-order - but we have 19 other machines to keep us busy in the interim (see photos!)

Really sorry for the delays - we know you’re itching to get in there and we appreciate your patience more than you know.

It won't be long now!

They say Rome wasn't built in a day, and apparently, neither is a gym!

Sorry for the delay folks - turns out opening a gym "overnight" is a bit more complicated than just unlocking the front door.

We’re working hard behind the scenes and, as you can see, our free weights area is almost there (needs a very good clean though!)- we’ve just got one Smith machine left to wrestle into place and we’ll be ready to lift.

Our cardio area is currently being prepped (equipment has arrived!) and should be good to go by next week, so keep your eyes peeled for pictures!

In the meantime, if you’re ever wandering past and see the door open, feel free to stick your head in and have a look around.

We're putting in the hours, and rest assured, when we’re finished, Ilkley is going to have a gym to be proud of.

The rumors are true. We aren't just opening another gym; we're building a new standard for training.

This isn't a corporate chain. We're an independent, all hours facility designed from the ground up.

We're gutting Marsel House to create an all hours, high-tech training facility that feels like an elite training lab but at a price that actually makes sense.

We put the window graphics up just to test the signal. We expected a few enquiries. We didn't expect 250+ of you to hit the site in the first 24 hours!

Right now, it’s a controlled "squeeze":

Electrical: Hundreds of metres of cable being buried to power those power hungry treadmills

Climate: Full industrial air-con install to keep it all fresh

Privacy: Luxury ensuite WC & shower facilities (no communal changing here!)

400sqm of pure, uncrowded training floor

It’s a huge job, but we are moving super fast to get the doors open for you. We're relying on a huge team of contractors (shoutout to Leodis, West Yorkshire Electrical, In Out Solutions, Yorkshire Glass, amongst the many others for all their efforts) to hit our June 2026 opening target.
