🥊 BARUM BOX CUP 2026 — MATCHES NEEDED 🥊
These are the matches we currently need for our Barum Box Cup on 4th, 5th & 6th September at the North Devon Resort, Ilfracombe.
If you have boxers that fit and want to box, please get in touch with us. 🙏
Walkovers are always one of the hardest and most frustrating parts of running a Box Cup. We genuinely care about every boxer who enters and we want everyone who travels down to Devon to get the opportunity to compete.
We wouldn’t spend as much as we do on trophies, belts and putting the weekend together if we didn’t care about giving the boxers the best possible experience.
So I’m appealing coach to coach — if you look at the poster and have someone who could match one of these boxers, please get in touch. Even if you’re not sure, message us and we’ll have a look.
Every year this part absolutely fries my head 🤯🤣, because the last thing we want is youngsters training hard, looking forward to the weekend and then not getting a bout.
We’ve got another huge weekend of boxing coming to North Devon and we’ll do everything we can to get these remaining boxers matched.

What an incredible weekend! The Barum Box Cup was packed with passion, skill, and heart—and it wouldn’t have been possible without all of you.

💥 To the coaches whose passion shone through every bout.
💥 To the officials who gave up their time to make the event run smoothly.
💥 To the supporters who created such an amazing atmosphere.
💥 To the security team for understanding the event and helping everything run safely.
💥 To The North Devon Resort and team for being brilliant hosts.
💥 To Jablinked, the Box Cup masters, for their incredible support.
💥 To Billy Macey—for being so thorough and dedicated in choosing the right boxer for the cup named after his sadly missed and inspiring mum. Billy, you are a star—a credit to everything you do, and your passion for boxing shines the brightest.
💥 To Shirley Kenny—who has helped us selflessly since day one, overcoming any problems thrown at us to make the cup run so smoothly.

The weight allowance comes into play on the Saturday after boxers have made weight on Friday 5th, the weigh in on Friday is from 8am to 11am and and email will go out confirming this.
