Ilfracombe Town Youth Football Under 11s flew the flag for North Devon youth football at Newton St Cyres (Exeter) in very demanding 33 degree heat our Lions were 2nd in there group and Tigers finishing 7th.

Our lions went into the quarter fonal drawing 1-1 before dreaded penalties (losing 2-3).Ilfracombe Youth Football Under 11s flew the flag for North Devon youth football at Newton St Cyres (Exeter) in very demanding 33 degree heat
our Lions were 2nd in there group and Tigers finishing 7th playing teams from across South Devon,

Stoke Hill
West Axe
Copplestone
Crediton
Cranbrook
Whipton
Heavitree

Our lions went into the quarter fonal drawing 1-1 before dreaded penalties (losing 2-3).

Im going for better luck for england later and a 2-0 win.

Thank you to everyone who made today a success day of youth football at Ilfracombe Town Youth Football Under 11s a great round robin with teams from Bitton (Bristol) Braunton and Ilfracombe taking part in competitive and yes fun matches in the game that all the players just love.

Ilfracombe Youth Under 11s Lions played again in Moors Youth Summer Tournament finishing 3rd equal out of 28 teams from all over the south west in group stages before losing 1-0 in the quarter finals to the eventual winners, Stoke Hill, Exeter.

IlfracombYouth Tigers Under 11s r lifted their football to a new higher level today finishing in a respectable position in their league which bodes well for next season.

Brilliant day and happy players playing the game they love..
