Ilfracombe Tennis Club Family Tennis Club - All ages & abilities welcome We are a Clubmark accredited tennis club & have been awarded Beacon status by the LTA.

The tennis club is set in the green flag award winning Bicclescombe Park & has 7 outdoor tennis courts, 3 of which are currently floodlit. We have thriving junior & social sections, men's & ladies summer teams, mixed winter teams & host a variety of tournaments with our Grade 4 summer tournament attracting 475 entries in 2012

Heatwave shoutout to Robin here ( Ilfracombe Tennis Club ) and our own Edward Tavistock Tennis Club for a victory in the U12 Boys Doubles at the 26th Heron Open today. They battled bravely through the intense temperatures winning an excellent final 4-2 4-3 (7/5).

It was a great match with Samuel and Jack making up the 4 showing excellent sporting behaviour, check-ins re water intake and ensuring all were okay at the end of each game. Great work lads!

Congratulations to Ilfracombe players Robin & Kit who both won a title at the St Austell Open Grade 4 during Half-term. Robin, pictured, won the 12U Boys Singles, came 6th in the 14U Singles, 3rd in 14U Doubles & 5th in the 16U Singles. Kit won the 11U Doubles with partner Oliver, came 3rd in the 10U Singles & 8th in the 11U Singles. Well done boys!
