On a really beautiful warm evening we held our Summer Fun Tournament followed by a superb BBQ prepared and served by Karen Ingelbrecht.
The tournament was won by Dave W and Raj who received their boxes of chocolates as prizes and a box was also given to Karen as a thank you.
The tournament was full with 32 pre booked players and several members who turned up on the off chance of playing went over to the Council courts on South Road.
Many more members and their families and friends came along for the BBQ.

Our first July Finals Day went a treat with lovely weather and some great tennis from all who took part. Congratulations to our winners. More pics of the action will follow. Big thanks to Benita for her photography.

Thanks to Csilla and Christina for providing Saturday teas at social mix-in this afternoon - their apple cake and strawberry topped sponge cake were a hit, as was Penny's banana cake.

Their first time and now fully trained in how to set-up the urn and work the dishwasher 🙌😄

Kitchen is all clear and ready for our CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS DAY TOMORROW!! Good luck to all our players 😎🎾🏆

We're delighted to bring you the order of play for the Club Championships Finals Day on Sunday, 19th July.

The finals kick off at 10:00 am and there promises to be a great day of tennis from all our finalists. This year we are featuring Walking Tennis for the first time, so if you're interested to see how that works, the final will be played at 15:00.

Come along and support our finalists in their efforts to lift the trophies, we'll have refreshments on sale all day - Coffee/tea and home-made cakes and savouries in the morning, freshly made panini at lunchtime and tea and home-made cakes in the afternoon. Cold drinks and ice creams will be available too.
