Junior Membership Joining Fee Refunds

We would like to apologise to any members who may have been affected by an error relating to junior membership applications.

It has recently come to our attention that junior memberships purchased online have, in some cases, been charged a joining fee. As an incentive to encourage young anglers to join the club, CPAS does not charge a joining fee for junior memberships, and we would like to put this right.

Following a review, the club has agreed to refund all eligible joining fees that have been charged on online junior membership applications. We are currently working through our records and processing refunds, which may take a few days due to the number of memberships involved.

If you have not heard from us by the end of the week and believe you may have been affected (for example, if you purchased a junior membership online and were charged a joining fee), please contact me at [email protected] with your order number and details, and I will investigate further.

We apologise for this oversight and thank you for your patience and understanding while we work through the refunds.

📣JUNIOR OPEN 2026 📣

We will be hosting our annual junior angling competition on 11th July 2026.

Anglers need to be U17 and have their own tackle to enter. Anyone who doesn’t have a keep net can borrow one on the day. There’s a prize for everyone that takes part!

We will start at 9AM on Ladies Walk Bridge to start fishing at 10:30AM.

Please note that memberships will be processed and sent out before 1st May 2026, so they will not be issued immediately after applying. Thank you for your patience while we work through the applications.

A reminder that the club no longer have access to Evegate Pond
(Day Tickets or Members). All memberships will now only be valid for the RMC and Stanford Lake

• Concession (66+, Disabled, Students) – £42
• Husband / Wife – £126
• Junior (12–16) – £18
• Junior Under 12 (fishing without adult member) – £18

• Car permit & key – £8

We’re currently preparing everything for the 2026/27 membership season, and online membership applications will be available shortly. Please keep an eye on this page for the announcement when they go live.

As part of the preparations, the membership fees have been updated for the new season and will be as follows:

Membership Fees (2026/27):
• Senior – £83
• Half Year – £53
• Concession (66+, Disabled, Students) – £42
• Husband / Wife – £126
• Junior (12–16) – £18
• Junior Under 12 (fishing without adult member) – £18
• Junior Under 12 (fishing with adult member) – FREE
