Well, Fireballs season number 2 is over. A season of ups and downs with a tough new league competing with experienced teams.

All girls who have taken part this season should be proud of their efforts and everything they have achieved. Everyone has continued to improve. Yes the results didn't always go our way but keeping heads up will lead to a great bounce back next season.

Despite winning 3 games and drawing 1 we finished bottom of the league 2 points from safety. However, all was not lost as we had the girl with the highest number of runs and the girl with the most wickets in the league. So congratulations to Megan Dickin for scoring 325 runs in 12 games and to Ella Bardsley for taking 25 wickets.

Onwards and upwards the Fireballs will always bounce back!!
