How are food companies allowed to it statements that are just plain false on their packaging?

These Heinz baked beans claim to be high in protein but checking the label they have 4.6g per 100g that’s a low 4.6%.

Where else in the world is 5% classed as high!

I would have to eat 3.5 kilos of beans to get near my daily protein requirement and I’d be over my daily calories and carbs well before I got there.

Don’t believe flashy headlines and logos, check the details.

I think Facebook is calling me fat with all these fat loss ADs.

You ask anyone in the industry about fat loss and you’ll get the same basic boring answer, eat less calories and move more, why do we all day this? Because it works! No magic foods to eat or six pack in 6 minute routine.

Everyone’s looking for a quick fix, a way to waste money. Fat loss injections, fat burners, herbal supplements.. if they worked everyone would be skinny?

I’m not denying that ozempic / semaglutide works, but at what cost?

Feeling that nauseous you can’t eat.. and loosing that much muscle you loose strength and function!

Talk to a professional for free, get an understanding of nutrition and how to track your food intake and energy expenditure. Lift weights to keep the muscle you have (you won’t accidentally become a body builder).

Don’t rely on drugs

Creatine.that’s steroids right?!..
I wish 🤭, the only substance that work like steroids are steroids. Creatine is a naturally occurring compound usually found in red meat and it’s present with in our bodies.

If it’s in food why should I take extra?
It’s found in such minuscule amounts in food it’s cheaper and more effective to cover your intake as a supplement. It will give you a slight advance in the gym, when you’ve reached saturation you should have a little extra endurance and strength which could be an extra rep or two per set, those last few per set are the important ones.

Again, no. Creatine will help your body retain some intercellular water but this is within the muscle, and it’ll likely be a pound or two. You’d hold more from a high carb meal.

Creatine is the most researched supplement, There is no research at says it’s beneficial to stop and restart Creatine use, it’s safe to take daily long term. As long as you’re keeping hydrated and don’t have any pre existing kidney issues you’re good to go.

I’m a woman, or don’t want to look muscley, I should avoid it!?..
I’d recommend everyone takes the stated 5g daily dose even if they’re not training to get bigger or stronger. Besides the physical benefits, Creatine has been shown to improve cognitive function and even helping concussions patients recover quicker.

In summary:
Creatine monohydrate is the first supplement you should be investing in.
Consume 5g or 1g per 10kg of body weight daily preferably with food.
Drink your water - minimum 2L clear water a day.

Sleep must be the most underrated aspect in most people’s fitness / Health / Fat loss regimes.

I used to be a believer of getting as much done and sleep as little as possible.

This has all changed, since researching and completing training on sleep.

Sleep has a MAJOR impact on recovery from exercise, energy levels, and hormone levels including ghrelin aka the hunger hormone.

Not getting enough sleep will lead to lethargy causing a lack of motivation and cravings leading to over eating.

Sleep now for a better tomorrow.
