We want to know, what you think to petitioning to extend one of our parks???
We put forward these 3, beacause they’re popular, good parks and have space around them which the park could be extended on to-

We’ve made it to mid January, dark nights, wet weather and cold weather but only another 6 weeks or so and the weather will change which means - regular outdoor park visits again youth 🤙🏻
Nottingham has the best choice of outdoor parks, definitely in the midlands and arguably in the UK, theres loads, and decent ones aswell, did us another beauty last summer with Lady Bay, cheers big tabs!

Obviously, to get any park extended it requires fund raising, which we can do, it requires ideas for the extension, which we can do (with your input!) and idea of cost for the extension after we’ve all decided on the design.
Theres loads of potential at all 3 parks, what does everyone think???

Comment below, share this, let everyone know, lets get this out there!!!!!!

our little tribe of weirdos all being retards. Is this dead?
The idea of community is interwoven in to the skateboarding culture, it’s like the blood of us.
The instagram thing has definitely damaged this...
Instagram uploads...they vanish, don’t they?
They’re there for the amount of time you want to see them then directly underneath is another...it’s a throwaway mentality...I bet you don’t rewind these clips like in the VHS days!
The rewinding and rewatching of ‘s flip crook on the black hand rail to Where is My Mind by the pixies or Greco’s Nollie Cab Flip with his white shirt, Jeans and brown shoes (steeeez) to Van Morrison or Reynolds EPIC kickie down the Hollywood High Stairs...i mean the VHS was crackly as f**k!!! God I love that video but Skateboarding has changed, like everything it has moved on, with the internet and smart phones this tradition or communal get-together doesn’t cause the same impact, or does it??
Do you think the the loss of VHS is a bad thing?
Do you feel the throwaway Insta posts depreciates the quality or longevity of a trick??
Do they cause you to have treasured memories?? Perhaps they do! But do they have the same impact as a VHS did?

We want to hear what you think to this, comment below but, before we sign off here’s a list of other influential videos from the past, feel free to comment your own and why they mean so much to you - RIP VHS 📼

Osiris : Riders of the Storm

Birdhouse : The End

Flip : Sorry ( big-up J-Rotten, for not only presenting this video but for the huge influence you had on my life as an artist 👊🏻)

Ès - Menikmati ( , a one of a kind source of influence, thank you🤙🏻)

CKY - Landspeed ( another “it’s perfectly fine to be a retard” thumbs up! Thank you🤙🏻)

411VM - Tampa 1999

Transworld - Modus Operandi

Black Label - Label Kills

Zero - Misled Youth

Toy Machine - Jump Off a Building

There’s more so comment yours and why!!!

Death of the VHS Generation:

Most of you will remember but many of you won’t...VHS.

Hopefully, many of you will remember relying on adverts for upcoming jams or new deck series or spots or parks and catalogue for their new Icon or decks and new shoes and new products, well, the internet has that covered these days, doesn’t it? But what about those old days? Has that “old magic” of discovering new stuff gone? Or do we mean changed, not gone because like we said “the internet has that covered”, doesn’t it? If you want something you can find it...on your phone...in seconds...anywhere!
I remember hearing about Baker2G, i’d seen the ad of pi***ng off the waiter, the graphics said “YES” to me in everyway imaginable, we’d heard about this Video when out skating from people and that it was going to be ONLY STREET and theres this Gnarley Kid goin mental on some bins, we’d seen the Baker logo on boards, we knew was on a mission but nothing could prepare us for what we were about to experience, and a few others got on the Rainbow Bus from Ripley on the first Saturday we could and headed over to Rollersnakes to get the video, hyped doesn’t cut it, we couldn’t wait to get this f**ker in the Video Player..... it was a hype caused with no use of the internet...
We were all already on the punk thing, we’d been in the charity shops finding pissy garments for awhile but that video fuelled this, the music, the skit content, the least serious thing we’d ever been witness too and we couldn’t relate to this anymore if we had tried!
We’d found our bible
Something which justified our natural “weirdness” and sounded the “it’s perfectly fine to act this way” alarm...and we f**kin ran with it like a Cardiel SF hill bomb 💣!

But all this was from a video, a tape you had to rewind with the controller if you wanted to see a trick again, it became a tradition to watch it before you went out skating and it was stationary, couldn’t watch it on your phone on the way to a spot you had to be at home and I loved that. Everyone in front of the TV...together(the remainder in next upload....) FY insta!

Leeds : Hyde Park

Pretty famous park this, up in the north of the country in the mighty city of Leeds, in the summer time this place can be witness to some epic sessions, beginning to look a little dated now but still well worth a visit if you haven’t been already

It’s a relatively big outdoor park, has a concrete spine, pyramid, multiple manny pads, corner ledge, curved rail, wedge quarter, quarter to BIG sub so it’s got the good stuff!

Even though it’s an old park the floor crete is still in good nick, crust level is pretty good too

Like we said, this park gets some good sessions going, it’s a park where you can meet some good people and have a good skate 🤙🏻

Nottingham : Hucknall

A park that is often forgotten, shame aswell cuz it’s a really good park! Looking a little crusty now days but still has a lot to offer.

It’s got a similar build and layout to Long Eaton with a small manny pad to drop, flat bank with sub, concrete mini, hand rail, manny pad, kicker to ledge and a mental pyramid ledge beggin for a front crook up and down it 🤙🏻

Parking is right next to the park, it’s just a small walk up a path

Don’t really see many uploads from here so if you have footage tag

Burton on trent

We’ve been skating this place for yeeeeears, love this park, so many great memories☺️
First things, weirdly, theres no graffiti here, it’s not the only park with no Graf but still it just seems weird!
This place doesn’t follow your typical park layout, flat banks leading to each other with sub boxes at different angles, angles that lead to different parts of the park😆 theres a nice manny pad around the top of the taco, my little bro fs flipped out of that bank in to the taco - goooood tiiiimes🤙🏻
Looks old now, but the crete is still smooth af, the whippy quarter is a good laugh, the ledges are all square coping too so n crustyness (soz crusty boys!)

Overall, we’re biased, we love this park, spent so much time here and glad we’re glad to review and seriously if you want a proper nice chill park, easy lines, low ledges, laaaaaazy but rad day, then this little beauty is the one!
It’s a beaut, go visit and send us your vids, love to see more footage from this park👊🏻

Leicestershire : Measham

Fairly new one this, sorted out another beauty! It’s got the signature Blue trimming on little points around the park and a blue checker trim around the lip of the bowl, gives the park a proper Californian feel 👊🏻

Theres a Car Park right next to the park - disgusting speed bump on your way in 🤢 it’s rank!

The layout of the park offers loads of lines and it’s a tight park, good concrete (thanks Maverick) so speed is no problem, flowing back from the bank on to the hip leads you straight in to the pump bowl, right laugh!

Little gap Kicker in to a bank, bs flip it someone and send it us🤙🏻
Small park but has a lot to offer, gap to grind, Hip, Hip to sub, Double level bowl - great carve, it’s as close as experience you can get to backyard bowl in Cali (don’t expect the weather though, maybe last summer but not this year ☔️)

Overall, it’s a really nice park, is usually killin it here (over the wheel barrow brother 👊🏻) so yeh, get a visit in soon for this place!

for uploads!!

Hull : Rock City

Rock City is a park we waited a long time to visit, it’s varied layout and obscure ramp designs make your journey well worth it, even if it is just to skate the round step up! If it’s your first time visiting then expect a mugshot for the parks database files - make sure you’ve brushed your teeth and your hair is on it’s best angle
There’s a nice curved ledge which can be gapped over as well, the middle of the park is a bit sparse, there’s a rail but it could probably have been a driveway or something, it’s weird because they’ve used the other space really well, the minis are tucked away in the top corner and the scooters are kept in their own area on the rythm section.
The Bowl is sick, proper like new style park with extensions, it’s beastly big as well!

We had a good session here, went on a Friday Lunch and had the place to ourselves

Overall, really nice park, lots to skate, lots of lines, cost £10 for the day which is good, there’s a shop next door that sell dirt cheap drinks and toilet roll if you need it

A good day session would be hitting up West Park first then get yourselves over to

Sheffield : Worksop The Canch

Otherwise known as “The Canch”, Worksop Park was built in 2011 by as was Hull West Park so there are similarities in their design and materials.
It’s a good park, although it gets littered by the scrubbers often so expect bottle tops or stones under your wheels, it’s not too bad but taking a brush wouldn’t be a bad idea!

The park itself has lines everywhere you look, the red copped-up bank in the middle of the park is gaggin for someone to bonk to fs lip on it, upload that if you have it!

We liked the hip, it’s a good height and with transitions aiming at it you can get a good line up, the small bank in the corner has a low ledge running round it which is a good laugh.

Parking, there’s a Library right at the back of the park, use the location in this upload to navigate there. It’s pay and display, just so you know!

Overall it’s a good park, not as good as Hull West Park (which we uploaded a few days ago) but the council’s budget was nowhere near as big...looks like they decided to spend the money on the basketball court floor (see pictures!) but still well worth a trip
